I am a Land Agent for my Fathers company. I also Fly for him. Our company owns a Citation 750. I love this plane. I fly at least four times a week. We are all over the country with project oversight. I started flying when I was 16 and am 50 now. I am an active member of AOPA. Thats about it.

  2. Welcome back. This is part of my Daily routine.
  3. Now that is funny I don't care who you are.
  4. A little slower, but not by much. I am running Traffic though
  5. About the only problem I have seen is I get an out of date error when running GTN of GNS from Flight 1!
  6. I think it is safe to say, that all the aircraft that they have put out fall way short in avionics. I myself have a hanger full of them now. Every time I have bought one, with "Pro line" it doesn't even come close. The Autopilot fails, to perform as it should. I don't know if it is lack of knowledge or they plain just don't care. I have made it a policy to not buy, it doesn't matter how good they look. If it will not fly, what is the point. With all of the aircraft they are pushing out they should do like any of the other developers, and Hire someone that knows how to program. We have all been plagued with the buggy airplanes since they have been doing them. I thought it would be nice to a few Slowtations in the hanger. That is were they are. Collecting dust. I am waiting on the Shrike to come out and see how it fairs. With steam gauges, they shouldn't be able to mess it up too bad. The bottom line is if you want true to form avionics, go over to eaglesoft and pick up the Citation X. It is spot on and deserves props for getting it right. The graphic are a little dated, but she flies true to form. By the numbers is what most die hard simmers are looking for these days. If we continue to buy the junk, they will continue to push it out. I guess this is my rant for the year. It makes me mad to have to mod an aircraft that should be able to fly on its on accord form the developer. Otherwise why charge for it. I think the last good plane I bought was the AZTEC. Steam gauges and it does pretty good in my book. Nuff said, Cpt, Out.
  7. I couldn't agree with you more. The system is really lacking in programing. I have yet to complete a flight with this thing. I usually get frustrated and just switch back to ES Citation X or the Old C-90 so I can manually navigate. I feel if a developer is going to make a navigation simulation it should at least function. The not working part is what is driving me crazy. I keep thinking they will put more work into the product but to date they haven't. They have awesome graphics but the system is a killer! I was waiting on the 500 as it doesn't have glass. I thought maybe it would be a decent flight model. Now I see another xplane model is on the books. Which I don't really understand. I don't feel x-plane has the market share as large as FSX and P3D. Just my observation. A written manual explaining the half system would be nice.
  8. Awesome pictures! Like the others the first and last look real.
  9. It is amazing. One day we were all begging for business jets. Now we all have a hanger full of them. Thanks for the first thoughts guys. I think I will wait for the aero commander. Happy flying fellas, RJ McGill out.
  10. What I would give to have that classic with PMDG quality in P3D! I love the old iron and love the challenge of flying them in the jet age. RJ McGill
  11. Glad we finally got some sort of update. But 80% for the time frame isn't great. Any project manager knows this. My current job is @ 80% acquired in 2.5 years. Do the math, that is almost a snails pace and no matter what the client wants, it is only going to happen so fast. I guess the wait continues, and we sit on our hands and wait it out. Funny thing is I bought it for P3Dv2.5 and now we are in P3Dv3.1. Hopefully this will be the surprise. Joining the wait club see ya fellas. Cpt. out.
