Just an update if someone else experiences the same problem...looks like it had something to do with my Nvidia inspector settings. Just reverted to default and no more lag...

Hello, I have just switched to P3D V4 from FSX today and I love it! Unfortunately I am experiencing severe lag both in the aircraft menu, as well as in the main menu. Interestingly in the aircraft menu this is only happening when I am using the detailed view with the aircraft turning in the preview window. Therefore I assume that the small aircraft preview also causes the lag in the main menu...has anybody else experienced something like this? Is this a known problem and maybe due to some setting? Negative, was hoping that they fixed...but in my FSX the glitch is still there. Really disappointing that there has been no comment from PMDG...

Hi Dave, thanks for your answer. So it seems like this is definitely a bug with the 757...haven't noticed the missing ET yet, but it looks like there are some issues with the aircraft. It's a shame that nobody on the forums answers any of those questions. :( I'm really looking forward to the Level-D 757, would be great to have a real study-level rendition of this magnificent aircraft. I have indeed posted on the forums hosted by Flight1, but looking through recent threads there are hardly any answers, most of them being from other forum members trying to help out each other and almost no post by a developer. I also have asked for help with their Avro product (the download link for the Swiss repaint on their homepage is broken), but nobody has answered and the link is still broken as of today. Therefore I decided to post here on the Avsim forums...maybe somebody can confirm that they experience the same problem so I can at least be sure it's nothing to do with my setup. :) Cheers, Sebastian

Hi there, yesterday I took the 757 with the retrofitted panel option on a small tour and noticed something which looks like a weird bug to me...but maybe it's just some installation problem. So hopefully someone on here can shed some light on my issue. :) This what according to the manual the EFIS control panel for the retrofit cockpit should be looking like: On my system the EFIS control panel with the retrofit cockpit looks like this: As you can see, I am completely missing the Barometric Setting Control (marked with number 11 in the manual) on the lower part of the EFIS control panel. This makes it impossible for me to switch from inches to hpa when flying in areas where hpa is used for the barometric setting. Can someone confirm this bug? Or did something go wrong with my installation? I have also posted this on the QW forums, but seeing that they have ended all support for the 757 and the low activity on their forum I decided to post here on the Avsim forums as well. :) Cheers, Sebastian

Even though I can understand that developers are moving on, I hope that PMDG does not just leave us FSX customers behind. I have no problem with new aircraft being P3D-exclusive, but it would be a shame if old products wouldn't be fixed. Especially with a bug that has been introduced just recently with an update...

Ok Steve, I think we found the problem. Even after editing the ColorStart and ColorEnd values, the lights remained exactly the same. Looks like for some reason my light fields are not working correctly. :(

Hi Steve, I have followed your instructions, but unfortunately it didn't work. The approach lights are still flashing at night.

Steve, I think we found something. This is interesting. When I have the nav lights turned off with the default Cessna, the lights continue to flash, but as soon as I turn on the nav lights the runway lights also stay on. Hope this helps somehow.

Done that, still got the flashing lights. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. My legacy slider is set fully to the left (Scenery), I have converted all the light effects, installed the libraries with both the Light Package and the DX10 Effects. Still always the same flashing.

I have put the light field into the scenery folder of the EDDM scenery (Flight Simulator X\aerosoft\Mega Airport Munich\Scenery). When I installed the libraries I only had the box "DX10 Lights Package" checked.
