  1. I have recently started having this issue.. and it seems that no matter what I do... it repeats.. what exactly is t he solution? (more detail perhaps)? I have already reinstalled and that hasnt seemed to be the fix as mentioned earlier.. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is HIGHLY annoying..
  2. The POS-TAB routing is POS-R515-TAB and on return the route is usually flown TAB-TRI (which is the NDB at POS) and then you do a visual or ILS approach. As for POS-BGI the routing there and back is flown on the UR515 which leaves you with POS-UR515-BGI.... CAL uses and end up descent point of 12 miles away from the BGI VOR where IAS must be on or below 210kts. You should probably aim to be around 3000 or 4000ft at this point which you can plug into you FMC. More info on entering the end of descent point can be found here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/342798-along-track-waypoints/ For other routes that enter US airspace you can get the flight plan off of www.flightaware.com PM me if you have more questions
  3. Thanks for the help.. Anthony has answered my question.. .I didnt realize it had to be done from the scratchpad! Merci
  4. Ronan is that you can't enter it as BGI/-12? I'm a tad bit confused... I've already read that section on "Manually Entered Along Track Waypoints" which doesnt say anything about using a radial.. so what you're saying is that for the FMC to recognize it you must put in the radial?
  5. Any help on this would be much appreciated... I am flying TTPP-TBPB and I would like to set an E/D waypoint or even a waypoint at BGI/-12.. I have read the manual but its not specific enough as to how or where to enter this info.. I have tried entering on both the route page and on the legs page I keep getting "Invalid entry" message.. is it that this is not modeled on the FMC? The route is POS- UR515- BGI. Thanks in advance to those with more knowledge on this than me!
  6. Can't tell you how excited that makes me!! any ETA?
  7. Tell me about it.. so disappointed that it wasn't released with the product
  8. I am eagerly waiting some response on this. I'm quite annoyed that both Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica were on the release list yet they are not there... no word on it either.... especially when other repaints that weren't on the original list have made it.. BEGGING for one of these right about now!
  9. Mike, I just checked. That was something I overlooked because I thought for some reason that when the aircraft was loaded in the short config that because external power was unavailable that the wheel chocks weren't in place...thanks for the help though.. On that note its time for bed... I'm clearly too tired to function!
  10. Thanks that seems to have done the trick.. Guess I need to really read the Operating Manual for a more in depth understanding of the real world systems.. this isn't a joke! Next question though.. while trying to fix the braking situation.. I thought that switching A/C or reloading the panel state would solve the problem and instead what happened was the parking brake would permanently stay on and not release.. using all methods that is ( keyboard, mouse, joystick). Are we sure there is no problem with the brakes?
  11. Been fooling around with this beauty for a bit... but I seem to be having an issue with the auto brake usage.. it works fine on a rejected takeoff..(disengages the way it should) but on landing it refuses to disengage.. (yes I have moved the switch to off) it only disengages if I snap on the parking brake ( Ctrl .) and off again to disengage the auto brake...after which I lose full use of the manual braking... its just non-response even on the keyboard. I am using a Saitek X45 set and I can find no documentation in the Manual about troubleshooting brakes. Any suggestions? Ruining my life..kinda
