I'm sort of new to this software, about a month since I bought it. I never had much of a chance to test it because 10 days isn't enough time to learn it and test. So I bought it trusting that what was advertised was correct but in fact it appears that I paid for a beta instead of a final version. I have been having all sorts of problems with it and made multiple adjustments according to what I find in the forum but more issues appear randomly. The latest is with the flight plan scattering the waypoints all over. I enter waypoints and they can be inserted at the bottom of the flight plan or at the top or anywhere it chooses. I move them up or down to the correct position but when I validate the plan they get scattered again wit the TOD at some crazy location near the departure airport. P2A wants me to fly back and forth between waypoints but of course I declined to use those flight plans when this happens. Sometimes it's like P2A reversed the entire flight with the waypoints in sequence but backwards from the destination to the departure. So, the first waypoint at the departure is the last waypoint at the destination. Crazy ah? What I found that fixes that issue is to export the flight plan to the sim folder then import it to P2A. Then everything falls in the right place and I can fly the plan. But I shouldn't have to do that. I feel like I'm a guinea pig testing this software for the people whom I paid. Sorry.

Latitude and Longitude Coordinates for Flight Plans in Route Description. Hi I create a lot of irregular flight plans on little navmap for the msfs community and post them on flightsim.to. I have then been using the route description copying to clipboard and inserting into simbrief. This has mostly been successful for FBW a320neo and Headwind a339neo and other aircraft. However I have had no success with the Stable Salty B747 which currently cant use 11 letter format (development version can). The Salty Stable B747 requires a 5 (or 7) letter format. In the route descriptions latitude and longitude coordinates appear in a 11 letter format I need a method to mass convert this to 7 or 5 letter format. I have not been able to get the route description to change from 11 letter to 7 or 5 letter. In Options 'UNITS' the 'coordinates' is set to 'decimal degree' which is the 7 letter format. And of course switch back to 11 letter format for other aircraft. Examples: 11 letter coordinates: 3050N12022W 4620N07805W < degrees and minutes. 7 letter coordinates: 60N045W 46N078W < degrees only. 5 letter coordinates: 5020N 5020N < NAT type. Example flight plan route: EGHQ N0490F300 5034N00520W 5039N00536W 5112N00558W 5153N00548W 5233N00541W 5247N00553W 5303N00613W 5311N00646W 5316N00712W 5314N00742W 5254N00829W EINN I have looked over the little nav map manual and not found a solution though I may have missed it. Even if someone knows an online website that could mass convert coordinates from 11 letter to 7 ir 5 letter. All that I have found require one coordinate at a time. Any help would be appreciated, thanks, Richard.

Started flying on VATSIM a few months ago and last night I was doing a standard approach to Heathrow via the LAMB3R arrival and the controller was asking me to be at a certain altitude by passing a waypoint, I know this is very normal but I could not for the life of me find out how to instruct the FMC to do this. A/P was engaged with VNAV and LNAV, MCP altitude was set to the altitude I wanted it to go to. And I tried to enter the altitude into the FMC and select the waypoint in the LEGS page, (That seemed like the logical way to go about this). The numbers on there changed, but the plane didnt do anything. Am I going the wrong way about this or..? I ended up having to manually set the decent rate via the MCP since I couldn't figure it out, would appreciate some help

Any help on this would be much appreciated... I am flying TTPP-TBPB and I would like to set an E/D waypoint or even a waypoint at BGI/-12.. I have read the manual but its not specific enough as to how or where to enter this info.. I have tried entering on both the route page and on the legs page I keep getting "Invalid entry" message.. is it that this is not modeled on the FMC? The route is POS- UR515- BGI. Thanks in advance to those with more knowledge on this than me!

Hi, I have a confussion about this. As far as I know an airway is a straight line that connect several waypoints, which has names of five letters. The waypoints are represented as white or black triangles. When it is white, you won't have to contact the ATC, hence it is a noncompulsory notification waypoint... when it is black, you'll have to contact the ATC, compulsory notification waypoint. However, the waypoints normally has names easy to spell TOLVO, ALCAR, VICAR... ...but there are some waypoints, called unnamed waypoints... not shown in some ENROUTES coming from the local aeronautical authorities of several countries. For example, in Spain, AENA, our local authorities providing charts to the pilots, don't show these unnamed waypoints... I mean waypoints with strange names as... JRZ27... D005F... these waypoints are called unnamed waypoints... and I don't know what function they perform? specially because some of them are outside the airways...? they are in the middle of the field and are not connected by any airway whatsoever... ? so what function perform these unnamed waypoints? And also I don't know when a waypoint is an interesection? Perhaps is when a triangle (waypoint) be black or white, connect with several airways? in that case is an intersection? I really would appreciate if someone could clarify me these basic concepts, because I would understand much better the charts. Cheers

Hi,In Active Sky 2012, I create a manual flight plan on Flight Plan page (not imported from any flight planning tool). In this example, it is a very simple plan with two waypoints in addition to departure and destination airports:CYVR YYJ RBG KSFO (please see the attached pdf document for screenshots)The map page (see the screenshots in the attached doc) shows the correct route. After going to ‘flight plan’ page, I click on ‘Enter Plan’ and then I click on ‘process’ in order to generate my Wx themed files (Install AS2012 Graphics option). As soon as I click on ‘Process’ all the waypoints between the departure and destination airports get deleted (in this case YYJ and RBG waypoints get deleted).Basically, all the manually entered waypoints between departure and destination airports get deleted upon hitting Process on Enter Plan page and this is despite the fact that I have 'Existing Waypoints' options selected. I have created the attached Word document with the screenshots of every screen in the process. I don't think this is by design. I have tried different flight plans, and this happens for every flight plan without exception.

Hi How come Routfinder can not find a routing between two well known airports? I am thinking of BIKF-KJFK. I am referring to http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ It states following : NAT: Eastbound track message identification is 282NAT: Westbound track message identification is 281Couldn't find a routing between KEFLAVIK (BIKF, BI) and JOHN F KENNEDY INTL (KJFK, KJ) at FL330 - FL410. Any suggestions? Sincerely gura75
