  1. A rather long flight for me. KLWS PROXI FFU J11 BCE KPGA I'm using two new and lovely freeware airports at my origin and destination https://flightsim.to/file/51099/klws-lewiston-nez-perce-county-airport https://flightsim.to/file/51051/page-municipal-airport-kpga Please enjoy - and please download these two incredible freeware offerings! We'll be in and out of snow covered terrain for most of the flight Leaving KLWS in our gorgeous Citation Longitude Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Climbing like a homesick angel Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr A stunning paint by WhiskeyThrottle: https://flightsim.to/file/51004/cessna-citation-longitude-n282n Untitled-5 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr I was using full automation on this flight (it's a rarity for me). The upgraded Longitude is systems deep with advanced rnav, vnav and auto throttles. It has a MMO of .84. 2. I have lost the green climb & descent green arc from the MFD. It was there prior to AAU1 but has gone now. I have searched the G5000 menus & can't find it again. If I remember rightly, it was somewhat hidden away before but I can't find it now. Any help?? Kev
  3. Hi, Has anyone tried to take off in the Cessna Citation Longitude (MSFS 2020) with a cross wind of around 20kts? Even with decreased rudder sensitivity (-76%) I find it almost impossible to apply rudder input without the plane wearing heavily from side to side. It feels like the nose wheel is turning even at high speeds. Any experience with this?
  4. Just a few random shots from my approach into Sedona, it really is just incredible how good the sim looks after sunset!
  5. Latitude and Longitude Coordinates for Flight Plans in Route Description. Hi I create a lot of irregular flight plans on little navmap for the msfs community and post them on flightsim.to. I have then been using the route description copying to clipboard and inserting into simbrief. This has mostly been successful for FBW a320neo and Headwind a339neo and other aircraft. However I have had no success with the Stable Salty B747 which currently cant use 11 letter format (development version can). The Salty Stable B747 requires a 5 (or 7) letter format. In the route descriptions latitude and longitude coordinates appear in a 11 letter format I need a method to mass convert this to 7 or 5 letter format. I have not been able to get the route description to change from 11 letter to 7 or 5 letter. In Options 'UNITS' the 'coordinates' is set to 'decimal degree' which is the 7 letter format. And of course switch back to 11 letter format for other aircraft. Examples: 11 letter coordinates: 3050N12022W 4620N07805W < degrees and minutes. 7 letter coordinates: 60N045W 46N078W < degrees only. 5 letter coordinates: 5020N 5020N < NAT type. Example flight plan route: EGHQ N0490F300 5034N00520W 5039N00536W 5112N00558W 5153N00548W 5233N00541W 5247N00553W 5303N00613W 5311N00646W 5316N00712W 5314N00742W 5254N00829W EINN I have looked over the little nav map manual and not found a solution though I may have missed it. Even if someone knows an online website that could mass convert coordinates from 11 letter to 7 ir 5 letter. All that I have found require one coordinate at a time. Any help would be appreciated, thanks, Richard.
  6. Hi simmers πŸ˜ƒ Took out the Longitude for a small trip ( 2h ) from EIDW to LIMJ.. If you want to see the shots in the best resolution then please click on the picture !! cheers πŸ˜‰
  7. Make sure you read this placard. πŸ˜‰ Love the detail in MSFS. Not much doubt where my morning flight took me this morning. πŸ™‚ I "think" I was flying in the Longitude....but wasn't really sure....Glad the engine nacelle clears that up for you. 🀣
  8. Just some random 4K pics from my flight down to Spain from France on the weekend. When MSFS2020 runs good it's a jaw dropper. Thanks for viewing Cheers Rick
  9. Hi simmers πŸ˜ƒ Love the AAU1 Update, seems we have some whole new planes now, following a few shots from the Longitude.. cheers πŸ˜‰
  10. I am not able to engage the Longitude Hold Mode. I have the Flight Directors engaged and have entered all of the pre-flight data, weights etc, set an appropriate altitude and entered v speeds. I have tried with the autothrottle on and off when advancing the throttle and I have tried with VNAV on and off as well but I never see Hold. As soon as I lift off I get red messages that say HOLD FAIL and AT HOLD FAIL. I am new to the Longitude but not to MSFS. Any help will be appreciated. Steve D.
  11. Hi simmers πŸ˜ƒ Some from my past Longitude flights.. ..and more to come πŸ™ƒ cheers πŸ˜‰
  12. Hi simmers πŸ˜ƒ Here my second Longitude part.. more to come πŸ™ƒ - but first we get our SU11 today, hopefully not to mutch gets broken πŸ˜… cheers πŸ˜‰
  13. On the Longitude A/C ,this may have been brought up before but I have noticed that if you set the V speeds on the centre GPS panels, they are not reflected in the capt side panel. e.g if you set a V1 of 100Ks in the centre, the side panel V1 indication is blank. Any Ideas. Kev M
  14. Hey all, Was wondering if I could please get some advice on the following: 1. Water, Water Everywhere; (N18Β° 32 16.97" W155Β° 45 5.57") was able to read posts on ho to find it. I found it thanks to those who replied., but with this caviat... I did a save on the free flight and did not collect it because I wanted a bigger challenge to use the airplaines instruments to find it. However, what I would like to know is that even though I did use Google Earth as a cheat (?) by copying and pasting the coordinates in its search bar, I did find the spot located exactly in the same direction I needed to go a. What are the steps I need to take to try to find the Aerocaches that use coordinates with the planes instruments? 2. When trying fog landings... how can I get the instruments to "line up" properly? I remember using other flight games in the past and I know that the white cross needles move as you move the plane...but what would be a good step by step to be able to rad them properly or how to use them correctly. Trying not to cling to my dad's flying advice advice (God redst his soul) of I.F.R. (Instrument Flight Rules) = I follow roads, (lol) fryerlawrence
  15. I know this has been done to death before, BUT has anyone manged to bind a keyboard or Honeywell switch/axis to disconnect the longitude auto throttle. Taking your eyes off the outside right on landing to find the auto throttle button on the power levers does nothing to help the approach. Kev
