Tough crowd... 😐 Cool update!

Last week I also made the move to p3d. Never want to go back to fsx to be honest. Luckily a lot of addons still work or are compatible with p3d, so I'm very happy about that. Although it sucks not being able to fly pmdg (yet) in p3d (bought ngx on release, 777 just last week when I was still running fsx), p3d v2.2 is really an improvement over fsx. Once we can fly pmdg in p3d, I think we will see a lot of users migrating from fsx.

Well I made up my mind. I will buy the training only if I can activate linework after groundwork and flightwork are completed.Don't really feel like jumping into linework without having the proper knowledge of the basics.

Maybe some of you who have bought the 737 course can talk a bit about the first video when it is released? :) That would be great...

I'm not sure what to do, buy the course or not. It sounds great and all, and I'm sure they put a lot of effort into their courses, but I'm just wondering how deep they will go in the explanation.Will they remain on the surface, a bit below or really go all the way and explain everything there is to learn about the 737. How good will it be for people who basically know how to power the aircraft, vaguely know what most of the buttons do, program a flight plan, etc. Is it really going to be the knowledge you'd learn in a type 737 rating course? What do you guys think.

Hi, Just wondering how I put the coordinates for the IRS position into the FMC.I've moved the two irs align switches to nav. First it shows the on dc light, and then it goes to align. After a while it starts blinking so I suppose they are aligned. Now on the POS INIT page I need to fill in the IRS POS, so I go to page 2 but it doesn't show me any coordinates for IRS L or IRS R, I can only choose the coordinates for GPS L and GPS R.Is this normal? Or am I forgetting something? D

I have to say that PFE in the beginning needs some effort to get used to but everything is well explained in tutorial videos and the manual. When you have done it once, it's as easy as anything else. And yes it does have a lot of options, so whenever you need some fine tuning you're able to do that. Also PFE gives you taxi instructions which is something radar contact doesn't give. PFE comes with a separate tool (pfe displayer) that shows you all the commands you can give during the flight and it also gives you all the frequencies you will need during the flight. The additional sound pack for PFE is also pretty nice. I have never used radar contact though, I just made a decision by looking up reviews/previews and looking around on forums. :)

My problem was that when I started fsx, it didn't manage to connect to the internet.How I think I managed to solve it (otherwise it was just a problem with the activation server): start fsx go to freeflight, go into weather and select realtime weather when I tried this, realtime weather didn't work, a message saying it couldn't connect to the weather server click ok, try doing this again (without shutting down fsx), now fsx manages to connect to the weather server and download the weather, click ok now select the 737 ngx from the plane list and enter the activation code after these steps I managed to validate the license I'm not sure if it's somehow connected, but I guess it never hurts to try
