August 5, 201114 yr Just wondered if anyone has bought the Fly AoA Media training from Chris et al? If so, what is the delivery method? Will it all be streamed? Will we be able to download content and view it later? Smart phone compatible? Is there any time limit on the line training? I'm really interested in the Captain package, but a busy life (kids, house move) means that it needs to be flexible... Ed Haslam
August 5, 201114 yr I bought it but nothing is online as of yet. As far as I know (I take now responsibility for false information this is only to my best knowledge) They always stream their videos but you can download them as well even for your mobile devices. The Groundwork and the Flights are one time pay always watch while the Line work is more a subscription thing because that is something like an ongoing series where they make a new training every week or so. But as to being flexible the webbage serves you 24h a day seven days a week and you can watch whenever you want only that you have to pay for line work a monthly fee.
August 5, 201114 yr I'm on the fence about it. If I do purchase, it will be the ground package. It's as simple as streaming online, so I'd say it's plenty flexible! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
August 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks guys. I do hope that the videos are downloadable otherwise it's gonna be a real deal breaker for me. I work a lot over in Europe and often don't have access to 'tinternet. When I travel I like to spend time learning stuff, so lets hope they are. Ed Haslam
August 5, 201114 yr I just bought the Captain's package.I have the other courses and all of them can be downloaded and played off of your harddrive, but it is also streamed online. I'm not sure about a smart phone because I still use a dumb one. From what I'm seeing the only time limit will be on "Line Work" which will be three months covered on the Captains package once it starts. Everything else has no time limits. This course is being put together as we use it, until it is complete, so it will be a while before every part of it is available. Bob Robert Yunque
August 5, 201114 yr Bought the Captain's Package. For me, the AOA training saves a great deal of time getting up and running professionally compared to tediously working through the manual alone. Shane Gavin

August 5, 201114 yr Question for you guys, the captain's pack says it includes 3 months free of linework. But does that mean the 3 months free will run out before they have time to do the videos?Or does this start when the first videos appear? Andy Knight

So it looks like the linework will be streamable only?
