  2. Cool list. I have yet to own a BizJet and am holding off for this 'unannounced' developer that ADX recently mentioned http://www.airdailyx.net/fsnewsbreaker/2016/7/30/prepare-to-be-blown-away

I was going to get the PMDG 747 for P3D when released. I may just pass that and get this instead. Haven't a clue about Airbus aircraft. All I've flown are the LDS767, PMDG 737 old and new (FSX), PMDG 747 old (obviously) (FSX). Maybe this is the aircraft to jump to next. In tandem with the A2Sim videos it looks like a winner. Just need to tear myself away from NMS
  4. I bought the upgrade to AS16 but I'm keeping my HDE clouds with NickN's settings. Nothing I've seen comes close. All these cloud texture products all look too cartoonish and clean and I own them all apart from the new ASCA. I think it's getting silly with all these cloud textures. Can anyone honestly say that they can tell the difference between all the cloud textures released over the last 10 years, freeware or payware, if random sets were installed?
  5. EDIT - Ignore. Misread, thought you meant networking AS16.
  6. I'm looking forward to seeing some user videos to see it all in action. All these cloud screenshots look the same to me. Can't see any difference between any of the texture sets released over the years either freeware or payware.
  7. Top of the page is a banner - SUMMER35
  8. Are you running the latest version of EzDok? http://www.simforums.com/forums/ezca-v1187-p3d-v3-available-for-download_topic53929.html I can't remember why but I uninstalled Opus and went back to EzDok + ASN and am very happy. I've not had any issues running the latest version with P3D v3.2
  9. 14 years, that's the longest I've seen here for a resurrection thread
  10. P3D v3.2 on Win 7 64, i7 3770k @ 4.2, Asus Strix GTX 980Ti running 368.22 In Nivida Inspector - All default settings except AA mode - Enhance, Transparency Supersampling - 4x Sparse Grid, Power Management - Maximum In P3D - Image and Texture Quality , FSAA - Off, MSAA - 4 Samples, Texture Filtering Anisotropic 4x, Texture Resolution - High, Vsync - Off, Frame Rate - Unlimited, Tessellation - Enabled
  11. Whatever, you obviously hadn't set P3D and your drivers correctly then otherwise everyone would have been experiencing the same issues.
  12. Won't have been 3.2 causing the shimmering. I run ORBX scenery exclusively in 3.2 and I've never ran a simulator over the last 12yrs of simming that has performed or looked as good as it does now.
  13. How long have you left the windows update running? On my last Win 7 install a few months ago it took around 3 hours before it gave me a list of the updates. Have you thought about downloading the Win 8.1 ISO from microsoft site and doing a clean install and then upgrading to Win 10?
  14. Lol, I bought a licence a while ago and I've still not installed.
  15. I went from a 670 to a 980Ti running on a Dell Ultrawide 34 @ 3440 x 1440. In P3D when displaying any amount of clouds it was pretty much a slideshow. Now I have 40 fps + on full overcast, smooth as anything with 4x sparse grid sampling or whatever it is. If you don't want to pay for the 1080 a 980Ti would be a massive improvement plus you can save some cash as there are some good deals to be had on the 980 series. Using GPU-Z my 980Ti memory isn't even above 25% utilised so there's plenty of headroom yet for memory load. I'd say the new Pascal would be overkill for a setup similar to mine.
  16. Paladin, I purchased on Ebay on a reverse buy it now auction. It started at a fixed price and reduced by £10 every hour until it sold. There were quite a few from the same seller. I've looked now and he's not selling anymore so I assume they're all gone. I recommend keeping an eye on Ebay. There have been quite a few selling around £400 brand new from genuine sellers. The same card is £530 + in computer stores.
