I'm trying to activate the ngx but everytime it gives me an error message saying that it can't connect to the activation server.FSX closes afterwards. Is there a way for me to activate it not from within FSX? I don't want to start FSX every minute to see if it works.

Yes, that is the format ....worked for me first time ....make sure you installed the NGX with ADMIN rights and make sure you start FSX with ADMIN rights .....ADMIN Rights means you right click and select "Run as Administrator" ...should have rebooted after installation too...just good practice

Im running with UAC thingy turned off so it cant be an admin rights thing.

especially when I work all day and I am told that I can test my new addon way back, well not little kids having fun all day hacking people honest ... disappointed
