PMDG 737-800 RELEASED!
I had something similar to this with the 777. It turned out to be something to do with an auto save feature I had enable whilst using MSFS, in particular it was Volanta auto save.

Chaseplane MSFS2024 Tobii reset head tracking
Do you guys just have head tracking? I was using tobii with open track before installing Chaseplane, now it just seems to natively work with MSFS now, I don’t know if this is because I have installed Chaseplane or if it’s something to do with a recent MSFS update. Mine just seems to be picking up eye tracking now, does anyone know how to disable eye tracking and just use head tracking? thanks

Xbox vs PS5 for MSFS2024
So does this mean that anything purchased on my PC through the market place, I won’t be able to use on the PS5? Seems a bit backward, I understand that it’s Microsoft vs Sony, but it’s a Microsoft game available on the PS5, surely they could just allow the same login credentials as the PC?

Chaseplane for MSFS 2024 is now available
Bought it and set it up, and it’s such a vast improvement on the default MSFS2024 camera system. Is there a way to disable tobii eye tracking and just have head tracking with Chaseplane? Kind regards

Sim Update 4 Beta 1.6.7.0 - Released
I have just completed my first flight on SU4 with the FSL A21N but unfortunately the second half of the flight turned into a slideshow. My system specs are AMD 7800XD with an RTX 4090. I was running AutoFPS and NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation but still only saw around 15 FPS. The night lighting looks fantastic but performance was disappointing so I think I will revert to SU3.

how is traffic (beta) in sayintentions.ai performing?
I have too recently started using SI ATC and I think it's great. As above there is some nice touches with the information given on the PA. With ATC, it does feel like you're talking to another human being in the way they interact with you. I also like the CPDLC function as well as being able to get PDC. I've not had any bad vectoring yet, and SI is quite happy to facilitate any requests, like direct-to's and diversion strategies. One thing I would like to see better done is ground handling and being told to wait for oncoming aircraft. The other day, I flew into Dublin and had a "caution bird activity" from tower when being cleared to land. As I was approaching the end of the runway, I flew through a swarm of birds.

FSLabs A321Neo Released
The FSLA321 CEO has a jump ahead function, where you can select a waypoint on your flightplan and it will warp you there and adjust your fuel to what the FMS had predicted.

Mandatory 8.7 GB Update, MSFS 2024 won't even startup.
Sorry, it may have already been said but how do you leave the beta, is it through the Xbox Insider Hub?

Mandatory 8.7 GB Update, MSFS 2024 won't even startup.
I’d only just sorted out the random freezes I’d been having in my sim over the past 3-4 weeks, this week. Got one flight completed on Tuesday evening. Went to fire it up today and noticed that all my add-ons were missing from my community folder and then read the thread on here saying about the rogue update. How frustrating. Re-installed most add-ons, then got another freeze 2 hours into a flight. I’m ready to throw the towel in on this sim. I spend more time trying to sort out issues with it rather than enjoying it. I understand it’s a relatively new sim, but surely it could have waited another 12-18 months before release to ensure a stable and enjoyable experience.

iniBuilds A350 has been released!
It was hit and miss on my flight this morning. It randomly done it for around 20 minutes.

iniBuilds A350 has been released!
I did a flight last night (first one) and had a wasm crash, but then I’d done a flight today from LFBO to EGLL with no issues. I’m assuming that after updating the aircraft yesterday and then restarting my PC, that may have solved it. i have one question though, can this plane load passengers and fuel into the aircraft through GSX based on a simbrief flight plan? GSX failed to load this morning when I done my flight so couldn’t try it out.

Wireless TrackIR?
Another vote here for Tobii. I had TrackIR for many years and the trackclip pro kept braking, and then stopped working so I ended up using the hat clip, which worked ok but I have an external window behind where I sit and can't locate my setup anywhere else in my house, so I couldn't really use TrackIR during the daytime. I purchased Tobii a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. It works very well, although I do turn off eye tracking but it worked very well with eye tracking enabled with my glasses on. The only problem is that it doesn't currently work very well natively with MSFS2024 like it does in MSFS2020, I think this issue will be addressed soon(I'm hoping).

FSLabs A321 climb performance
Was there any icing on the wings? This can severely impair the climb rate.

Is Beyond ATC Functional?
It’s a really great programme. I’ve had a couple of times recently where on descent, I’ve been cleared down to 5000 for example, then I’ll get handed over to approach and they’ll ask me to descend to 9000 for example. It would be great if there could be intersection takeoffs available, and also being asked to hold on approach, I’m not sure if this is planned or not?

PF3 ATC Program thoughts
I bought it probably over a year ago now so guess it doesn't apply to me.

PF3 ATC Program thoughts
Do previous owners of PFE have to pay full price for PF3?

My Traffic 6
what does copying the sdk file to the mytraffic folder actually do? I hadn't originally done this and I had traffic in P3D what will the difference be now I have copied the file over?

Recommend me a UK2000 scenery outside London
Apart from London City and Heathrow, all of them are outside of London. I would say that Luton is one of their best.

How do you recover from a bounce landing ?
Even more of a reason to go around!

Local IFR to VFR on Top
Beautiful shots Ryan. What aircraft is that?

First uk2000 airport: Prestwick?
Gatwick is a good airport for accommodating different types of aircraft and I think is the one of the busiest single runway airports in the world. However Luton is a very nice rendition and is pretty new.

Polar Flights - how close can you go?
I've flown a polar flight before and all went well, I think the graphics just go a bit funny as you reach the pole but sort themselves out after.

New Flight Sim Rig
gman1986 replied to gman1986's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcHello all again Just another question. Once I have built my new system I would like to utilise my old system to to run programmes externally like ASN and Radar Contact etc. However I'm limited for space and would have to downsize from a full gaming case. Is there any way of doing this with my current rig- I7920 Asus P6T Deluxe GTX580. Again, all advice is much appreciated. Gavin
