  • They also improved night lighting

  • I was on a business trip the whole week and I just tried the beta today, God Lord, suddenly the A350 performance became so good to be true, like really really good. I wonder what magic Asobo did here,

  • Just did my first flight in the fenix, landed into fly tampas Sydney and didnt get any stutters through the entire flight, not on take off not in cruise not on landing.  This is the best its ever

Night lighting too (needs some fine tuning but looks much much better )

And the A350 battery and oil issue is fixed. PMDG 777-300 may be working as well - at least it loaded in with engines running and the tablet working, haven’t had the chance to fly it yet.

Nice update.

I don't know what's wrong, but I can't get above 21FPS

The built in FPS limiter isn't working properly. had to set it to 35 to get to 30

Is there a power cut? Why don't any of the buildings have lights?

Does it really work?

For me it now loads with engines and instruments running but freezes the sim immediately.

I have to Con Alt Del and restart the sim.

Nope, not working properly. I do get it to load, and can do a TOGA takeoff.. but none of the switches and buttons are working so it's basically useless right now.

In better news, the Simbrief EFB app is back.

exact same issue as when 2024 launched and you tried to use the 2020 version, that's funny.

Same here! While using VR, it locks me to 33 FPS with Max Frame Rate enabled regardless of what I set it or anything else to. When I disable it, I average 45-50 FPS with 400 TLOD, 200 TLOD, and Ultra/High settings on my 4090. So I just disabled it!

I've assumed it's not possible to save controller settings by airframe as it seems I'm doing it correctly, but not certain of that.  I create a profile, make the hardware change--just sensitivities--and assign it to that plane profile I created, but it doesn't stick.  Am I doing it wrong, or is it messed up and if so is that addressed in SU4 so far?

IMO Night Lighting is much improved in this build.  Flying into Vegas tonight was quite impressive. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

Just finished a complete flight. Great experience! This beta is on the right track

Fenix A320

4K Ultra, TAA, FG. Frame rate limited to 45 (90 with FG). No other setting touched, straight Ultra preset. Traffic from FSLTL with high settings. Live weather, quite cloudy.

The whole thing was totally smooth all the way. From taxi to takeoff to landing and everything in between. Zero stutters.. in fact, I enjoyed the hand flying a lot, and had one of my best landings because that stupid annoying stutter at like 50-100ft that always destroyed my landings was just gone! It was great, and given that this was high quality payware with everything dialed up to max - the performance gains are really good.

Now there are various bugs and all that, not talking about those in this post. I wouldn't recommend you switch from SU3 to this unless you're willing to live with weird issues. But just happy to finally see smooth landings.
