Hopefully, these news will make people with some performance issues from the last build happy. But let me explain a little more to get you involved. As you might know, we are currently working on a major update to the Aerosoft A340-600 Pro. This is not just a case of recompiling or adding a few things here and there to the 3D model. Basically, it has been completely redone since the release. It's not just the whole plane; the main focus is on the wings, and a lot of work has gone into them. Of course, we want to release it to you as soon as possible, but at the same time, we have to make sure that it is done properly and not rushed. We are really sorry if you are annoyed by having to wait so long, but good things take time. I will come back to you very soon with some great before-and-after shots and information on what has changed. The model update is already in beta testing with a small group of testers and will be extended to a larger/different group this week. Please do not ask; there are no more testing slots available. This does not mean the update will be released next week or in two weeks' time. It's just transparent information to let you know what's happening behind the scenes. However, we are still confident it won't take too long. All we can ask is for your patience while you wait for the A340-600 Pro with the model update. As I wrote, due to the work involved in updating the model, we have to allocate staff to the right tasks to ensure we stay on track. We are, of course, also reading your feedback regarding the performance issues (stutters), and we have received different feedback on this. Feedback ranges from 'no problem' to 'really bad crashes' (not many, but still). I concur with JYW. Windows was deprecated and discontinued support Oct 13, 2025. Using an out of support OS puts you, your computer and most importantly it puts your Personal Identifiable Information (PII) at grave risk. Your best bet is a Win11 upgrade before anything else IMO. Blue skies, -B

Yes. That was my first failure

So I against my better judgment I jumped right onboard. Purchased from. JF, no problem as usual. Got my activation key and then setup my BB account. No problem, so far so good total time invested 5-7 minutes. Next I download “Nest” their instal DRM software. A little plain. A little wonky but that’s ok as long inas I can install the software. On first try after a five minute download it failed. Second try I chose 2020 mistakenly. It said it installed but I didn’t bother to see if it worked. Tried again a third time, this time correctly choosing 2024 and 3 min later a very tiny Installed OK box appears and off I go now to see if it works. Back soon Ok it works but it’s a learning curve for sure SB fuel and route seem ok. Make sure you adjust IRS and loading time according to your preference. Back soon Flying now KPDXKLAS. Setup again was “wonky” but that could be lack of familiarity on my part. In climb right now VNAV won’t engage. Using FLC for departure. Will see what happens at TOC. NOT. too impressed so far, but I’m sure it will grow on me LoL Back soon

I have witnessed the MK system in action. If you have the KMIA scenery go to stand J17 with a multi-door aircraft like the 380 or the 350. I watched all THREE jetways self connect at correct spacing, height and order. I don’t believe I have the EFB addon installed yet btw. Amazing Days we lived live in! -B

My thoughts. I’m 69 years of age and for as long as I can remember I’ve been into models. Some models were just shells with decals for windows. Some models had glass windshields with opening doors and a detailed engine under the hood that opened. I always preferred the latter to the former and that remains true for me in my simming days. KMIA updated today on iniManager. One of the key points in the change-log was the addition of multi-jetway ops at J17 and J17a. Took my ini a380 to stand J17, and used GSX to request boarding. Much to my surprise and amazement, not one, not two but THREE Jetways connected in sequence and to the proper doors! I’ve been simming for over 40 years now and I’ve never seen such a thing. YMMV. All of the above is true. Not saying the haze is deliberate obfuscation but…that’s how we did it in FSX LoL -B

Try this. Go to library and click the small hamburger wheel top right. That sets you package path. You might find the cause of your pain there. Good luck, -B

LVFR is most certainly changing their spots, and in a good way! The a380-800 Elevated is getting continuous updates and bug fixes and is now PS5 certified. This video shows off some recent updates. More details in the video description. Blue skies, -B

My take is that this is largely a self-inflicted, unforced error on the part of Synaptic. The announcement of the now required “toolbox” was just a day before release of the upgrade. Also the toolbox was incompatible with current version so you could not preinstall in anticipation of the upgrade and the upgrade required the toolbox, so if your system is in anyway not working with the toolbox its not working with the upgraded a220-300. Add to that the app owner is (or was) traveling and unavailable. Taken together you had all the ingredients for a perfect storm. Which we got. On Friday afternoon the “upgrade” was rolled back and that is the current state today. My take only. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies, -B
