Sure, you should continue using that extremely custom profile with Moza then. Makes sense if you want a perfect prebuilt profile and don’t want to tune it.

Hey the Airbus profiles had a bug, which has been fixed in 1.6.1. Update your program and try again, please. Let me know how close this is to the real thing. You can make it stronger on Moza bases by increasing the strength under Hardware -> Moza.

I've been working on this for a while now, trying to bring a few new ideas to life. The app now includes 1395 pre-built profiles that automatically work with the vast majority of planes we fly in MSFS 2024. I cover 135 developers in this release, and many of the bigger devs have received extra attention and care to make the planes "just work". PMDG, A2A, BlackSquare, iFly, Flight Factor, iniBuilds, and many many more have been manually tuned and tweaked. It's not perfect, of course, but it's a good place to start, and we'll improve things together. Tuning is very different and I hope much easier to use. I also translated the app/docs/manuals into 16 languages. I hope that helps those of you who aren't native English speakers. There's so much in this release that I can't put it all in this post, and neither can I put it all in the release notes! I will probably do a blog post or video at some point explaining the thinking behind this release. Here are some of the highlights - More aircraft, better matching. The app now includes 1,395 aircraft starting profiles for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12. Aircraft recognition handles more add-ons and variants, and saved defaults stay with the aircraft edition you chose. - New ways to tune the feel. Set centre-cam strength and width for a fixed-wing profile, shape pitch and roll spring curves independently, adjust trim-dependent pitch stiffness, and choose where Mach buffet begins. - More hardware and helicopter support. Brunner FFB-H and FFB-G support is available on Windows and Linux. Guided cyclic balance helps compensate for a grip or extension that pulls the stick off centre. Helicopter trim reversal is also corrected for native spring devices, including the Logitech G940. - Closer aircraft integration. This release expands telemetry and autopilot handling for aircraft including the PMDG 737 and 777, iFly 737 MAX, Fenix, FlightFactor 777 v2 and Hot Start Challenger 650. It also improves MOZA AY210 handling and AB9 force sensing and recovery. - More languages. Choose from sixteen app interface languages without restarting. The revised illustrated manual is available in fifteen languages. If you spot an awkward translation, use Report translation in the app to suggest a correction. - Easier support and important fixes. Report an Issue can send a diagnostic bundle from inside the app, with a local ZIP export available. This release also improves device restoration and reconnect behavior and fixes a Windows in-app update error. If an in-app Windows update from 1.5.3 reports “The system cannot find the path specified,” use the Windows download button below to install 1.6.0. The update error is fixed in this version. I'll let some users answer in more detail, but even in flybywire aircraft it's nice to have force feedback. You can feel stuff like the runway rumble on take off, and various other effects that in the real plane you'd feel through the whole plane, but here it's on the stick. Also, the airbus profiles make the stick feel like the airbus stick. It has a specific feel, and I've tried to replicate that as best as I can. Real pilots are constantly helping me refine it further. If you already have forcefeedback hardware, give it a shot?

1.6.0-beta.26Changes since 1.6.0-beta.25: Report issues without leaving the app. Report an Issue still sends your diagnostic bundle immediately after the existing confirmation, or automatically if you previously chose to skip confirmation. Add a description and optional email in the same window; they attach to the report already received by support. You can type while the bundle uploads, and failed submissions keep your text for retry. Without an email address, support cannot get in touch with you. Remember your support email. An optional Remember email on this computer checkbox fills in your address for future reports. It defaults off; unchecking it removes the saved address. The address is not included in diagnostic bundles. Brunner FFB-H / FFB-G support on Windows and Linux. Bridge switches the base into DirectX mode automatically, manages its effect gains while armed, restores the original gains when releasing control, and returns to CLS2Sim mode on exit. Force scaling is fixed at 100%; no Brunner Hardware tab or manual gain setup is needed. More consistent Brunner forces. Directed forces can use the base's full command range while spring strength has its own limit. Native damping and current-based protection improve stability, and stopping vibration effects preserves the centering spring. Motion safety remains active. Happy to read this.. this is where it all started, with my old Sidewinder and a bunch of python scripts in Linux seeing if this could even work. And now, we are here: Ever since I first tried force feedback back in 2000-2001, the single biggest issue has always been getting the profile tuned. As you know, my process for creating profiles to a reasonable level of quality seems to be working. And so, I decided to cover ALL the planes I could possibly find across MSFS 20/24, XP 12. Why not? The list of planes is rather long (1300+ profiles now), and I’ll be building some sort of neat way to search and review (expanded AirframeDB.com most likely), so for now, just download the beta and look at the profile library to see if your favorite plane is in there. I want this to be a a truly magical experience - install, and fly. Any plane. Any sim. Any stick/yoke. Any OS! It should just work. No need to look for a profile, tweak a profile or do anything at all. Congrats on the launch. I read your thread yesterday and then went and got myself added as a commercial member as well. Similar story, been on these forums for years, built FFB-Bridge as a little tool for myself.. and then it got bigger. I wish you success, it's nice to see high quality stuff coming out.

FFB-Bridge 1.6 Beta is here — 703 aircraft profiles, curve editor and proper MSFS trim 703 included aircraft profiles: The biggest change is a new library covering default aircraft and popular add-ons from PMDG, Fenix, iniBuilds, A2A, Black Square, Just Flight, ToLiss, FlightFactor, Hot Start and many more. FFB-Bridge now does a much better job of recognizing the exact aircraft and variant you are flying and selecting the right profile automatically. Proper pitch-trim behavior: Supported MSFS aircraft when using traditional force-feedback sticks such as the Microsoft SideWinder FFB2. FFB-Bridge can take ownership of the pitch and roll inputs, compensate for the simulator’s trim movement, and provide the expected pressure relief without the aircraft pitching up or down simply because you adjusted trim. Chiming in to say that I don't yet have the 380, but have had the 350 since launch, and have had zero issues. I mean, obviously I've seen it improve over time, but I never had the really bad crashes and hangs that plagued people early on. It's a great plane.

One thing to consider if you are spending that much - look into Force Feedback gear. It makes a huge difference. I've been using a lot of ffb gear since making FFB-Bridge, and really it does change the way you fly. A cheap FFB option is the Sidewinder v2 USB from eBay. Modern gear like Moza is excellent as well. the AB9 is really good. Note: this is my personal opinion!

I may be receiving the AY90 today (there's a DHL package being delivered, not sure exactly what's in it.). I'll wait a bit since it will be much easier for me to test myself and fix this. Let me get back to you in a few hours.

Oh yeah, I missed that! I’ll add it in. Thanks. And yeah I’ve used MSFS addons and it’s great, but different focus. The sites are complementary in fact, MSFS addons is the place to go for latest addon (planes scenery and everything) info and news. AirframeDB is trying, as you see, to pull in real world info, real world pilot reports, real world manufacturer info, along with all the sim stuff. In fact, there’s a lot more data in the database, but I’m keeping it simple on the public front end. that technical data is actually what I used with FFB-Bridge, and I’ll expose more as time goes on. Things like custom lvars and datarefs, custom trim stuff that some third party planes do .. stuff that only developers interested in interfacing with the plan care about. There’s really no one place to find this. Keep the suggestions coming, great ideas

Yeah, that’s something I’ve thought of as well. Provide a way for the community to grow it, let people bring in new devs and so on. It’s early days and I wanted to launch with a fairly simple MVP with a simple value prop (sorry for the corp speak, old habits etc). If it gets traction (early indications are positive!) then there’s lots more I can do with it. Keep the ideas coming, I feel like this is something that the community can shape together.
