  1. Parking the bus with 20 minutes to go at 1-0 up. FFS.
  2. *** COME ON ENGLAND ***
  3. I get that same feeling every time I'm on Holiday... of course it seemed better, you didn't have to work or do any of the monotonous "life" stuff while you were on your jollies. The UK isn't a terrible place to live - sure it has it's faults, but a lot of it can be rectified by pressing "OFF" on whatever myriad of devices you choose to carry around with you. There's very little positive comes from being connected 24/7 to the internet. The USA isn't some paradise without any faults of it's own, that's for sure 🤣
  4. This is MSFS in a nutshell. Turbulence shouldn't be optimised for anything it should just exist and aircraft of different types should react to it accordingly when they encounter it. All these external flight models, ground handling capabilities, turbulence optimisations, etc etc ... is anything in the simulator constant? (you know... like physics).
  5. It's coming home!

Never fear, I have bought several bags for life. Which are plastic... but ignore that.

I would like to convey my respects to you all for offsetting the carbon footprint of my 3.0 V6 diesel 😅
  8. [img] Seems they've knackered the landmark lighting again though. Pretty sure neither St James' Park or the Tyne Bridge are used to blind pilots at night.
  9. As with everything the last 20% takes 80% of the time ... in the meantime addons which release at 80% will do well while Majestic tries in vain to reach perfection.
  10. X-Plane is a way better simulator in tons of ways except visuals. It's not even close. When you drill down into the intricacies of features each sim has, X-Plane almost always does it properly and MSFS does it "ish". Weather for instance. Impact of weather on aircraft. Runway contamination effects on braking + performance. Default airports. Road traffic. Rail traffic. Even lights on the ground are proper 3D models instead of vaguely placed orbs. The list goes on. Granted MSFS looks very nice at times and benefits from procedurally generated terrain low down, but there's entirely too much shade put on X-Plane when it is in-fact architected extremely well and is a solid platform for the future.
  11. 2028 would be the obvious choice - whether or not they can build something beautiful and magnificent enough in that timeframe to persuade users into buying it again remains to be seen.
  12. I'm very impressed with Ubaid to be honest, I'd not seen any interviews with him before. He answered all the questions put to him without hesitation, had good information and came across as super passionate about the hobby. Good interview 👍
  13. As much as it pains me to say it as a Spurs fan I feel like Djed Spence is running around like a headless chicken sometimes! If he even runs.
  14. He's one of our own! Sadly I won't be able to watch the game on Monday as I need to be up early for a 200 mile drive to a 10am funeral but I doubt both eyes will be fully open before I've checked the score when I wake up 😅 Come on England - Mexico are a massive test, it's getting real now.
  15. Netherlands out now as well and Brazil didn't seem comfortable at all either ... football is changing.
  16. Which is why it's important to incorporate resistance training / weight lifting when dieting so that a) you don't lose muscle which the body uses as fuel before fat, and b) to keep your metabolism up as muscle consumes more calories than fat
  17. Silly me thinking there'd be 3 pages of insight to read about the FBW aircraft - nope, it's just people arguing on the internet again. Some things never change.
  18. 3060tu/8Gb, 32Gb RAM here and with RW Profiles EGNT it performs waaaaay better than the 2020 version. Impressive. It flies very nicely too.
  19. As a fellow Spurs fan dodges flying beer bottle I'm hoping that we're safe before the last 5 games of next season. I can't go through that again and the run-in looks way worse than it was this time...
  20. From what I can gather on the FSLabs forum regarding the A321, they're testing a new update having reworked some of the GSX integration (maybe because of the latest GSX updates) amongst other things. Hopefully it will appear soon.
  21. I like the Fenix but I find hand-flying it really weird. I always end up to the right of the runway centreline and it feels like it does the opposite to what you'd expect when a crosswind is in place. The A319 especially seems to love to sink on approach (especially in CONF3) whereas the 321 flies perfectly fine. No other Airbus (FSLabs, ToLiss family on XP, even the default A330 and Inibuilds 320 Neo) gives me the same result. Maybe it's a sim issue though - I feel like it's gotten much worse with SU5.
  22. I have no problem with the FSL on MSFS 2024 with my 8Gb 3060Ti but I don't run extreme simulator settings either. It's all about compromise I guess.
  23. Disgusting. What are the links so I can avoid them?
