Pentyrch UFO Incident
I've followed this incident several times on different channels. It's one of the most intriguing in my opinion.

iniBuilds Malta Available now & Scenery Development Update
Yeah, knowing how pedantic you are, like me, about sceneries, I thought you'd have a raised eye brow! I took one look at several areas in the video and thought they looked awful. I don't know what happened.

Anyone with the Virpil B-Jet Yoke?
Ah, my bad. I didn't realise there weren't any in circulation.

iniBuilds Malta Available now & Scenery Development Update
Is it just me, but I saw a pre-release preview of the airport on YouTube and thought the ground textures were dreadful. Poor enough to prevent me from buying it. I wonder if it's the same for the realease version.

Anyone with the Virpil B-Jet Yoke?
I'm looking at ordering one of these yokes and I'm wondering if anyone around here has one? If so, I'd be interested in hearing some feedback. Cheers.

Map Enhancement Opinions
Thanks for the observations. I have got quite frustrated at the 'dumbed down' terrain resolution and find it the most irritating thing about 2024, which I moved across to in May. I think I will try the map enhancement mod once again, this time with the pro version, see how it goes.

Map Enhancement Opinions
I used this mod in 2020, but I have to be honest, stopped doing so, as I found the mismatching of textures a bit 'offputting' also a lot of areas with cloud covering the ground. I've used it once for 2024, but again, I didn't find it that great. Perhaps I was in the wrong area, I don't know. My main gripe with default is the low res terrain and I didn't find the mod helped much. I'd be interested in hearing from others who may have had more success. Also, whether the pro version is a worthy upgrade. Cheers.

FS2024 SU6 performance really rocks!
Thanks for taking the time to do that Ryan. The difference is night and day from where I'm sitting.

FS2024 SU6 performance really rocks!
To be fair, I think a better comparison would be if you were a few thousand feet up above mountains and then do a comparison, that way any blurriness can be seen from close to the aircraft into the distance, rather than a range of mountains 50 miles away 😉

FS2024 SU6 performance really rocks!
Ah, interesting Ryan. I thought it was me! Yeah, I've noticed much less sharp terrain than I enjoyed in 2020. In fact, I had a really hard time convincing myself to jump across to 24, because I had got 2020 looking really nice. In fact, it was working beautifully. So I am a little peeved that 24 looks worse in my opinion, for me anyway. However, having said that, I really appreciate the smoothness and the overall look of the sim, it does look sweet, and of course there are other improvements, but, as you quite rightly say, Asobo seem to be giving with one hand, while taking away with the other!

SU6 and Still Delayed Loading
Hmm, I do admit, I take advantage of different views on my 48" 4k monitor By using Chaseplane with different views, I find it brings lots more interest to my flying rather than just sitting in the cockpit. I guess everyone to their own.

SU6 and Still Delayed Loading
I have to say, as I read the changelog for SU6, I can't help feeling my heart sink. With all the feedback and reports submitted to Asobo regarding the ridiculous delayed texture loading when changing views, I was expecting this to have been mended in this update. I'm sure for some, it may go unnoticed, but for others, like me, I find it a constant irritant, even though it's apparent for only a fraction of a second. I have to admit, I don't keep up to date with much that is reported from 'the horse's mouth' I get most information from you guys here on the forum. I'm wondering if this issue will ever be corrected, or is it something that is so ingrained into the way the terrain is loaded, that we just have to put up with it. It wasn't present in 2020, I wonder why it is so in 2024? Is there anyone who can share some information on this?
