  1. A quick business jet flight from Vancouver to Kelowna, B.C. Normally a 4 hour drive by car. Flight time was 37 minutes. RW 34 is an RNAV approach. I did a VFR landing. I have my sensitivity turned right down on the rudder pedals and find this add-on very twitchy and hard to control during takeoff and landing roll.
  2. This is the Air Canada's 15 hour flight from Vancouver (CYVR) to Sydney (YSSY) on the 777-200LR. It is actually Air Canada's longest 777 route. I have flown this route many times in real life. This flight had 127 tons of fuel on board. I love hand flying the approach on the 777.
  3. I find the ifly is great and stable if you are doing a 30 minute take off and landing circuit. But when I do a 5 hour airliner flight I get a CTD.
  4. It is experimental because it is an MSFS 2020 add on that was simply ported over to MSFS 2024 as opposed to a ground up new build on MSFS 2024.
  5. The iFly is still classified as experimental as it is ported to MSFS 2024 from MSFS 2020. As a result it is still buggy. And people give PMDG a hard time for being slow on new releases. I truly can't wait for a 737 Max built for MSFS 2024. Why is this taking so long?
  6. One of the most satisfying experiences in airliner sim flying is hand flying an ILS approach in zero visibility and in rain. Seeing the runway perfectly lined up at minimums is very satisfying. That was my objective on this flight. At the very end is a full FSI Panel rating.
  7. Arlanda, Sweden is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. RW 01L has a straight forward approach and is located north of Stockholm.
  8. Back in the sim cockpit after a month off. Recurrent sim training for the sim. Westjet flies from Toronto to Trinidad, Port of Spain. This is video of a Westjet 737-800 landing at Trinidad's Piarco airport. I landed here in real life to get to Tobago.
  9. Meanwhile, serious flight simmers are busy making their home made 787 simulators for their Vector add-on.
  10. This is going to be momentous!!!
  11. Broome, Australia is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. RW 28 has a nice approach in over the Indian Ocean into this beach resort town, home of the 22 km white sand, Cable Beach.
  12. Vaasa, Finland is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. Scenic and rural landscape on the approach in.
