  1. I find the ifly is great and stable if you are doing a 30 minute take off and landing circuit. But when I do a 5 hour airliner flight I get a CTD.
  2. It is experimental because it is an MSFS 2020 add on that was simply ported over to MSFS 2024 as opposed to a ground up new build on MSFS 2024.
  3. The iFly is still classified as experimental as it is ported to MSFS 2024 from MSFS 2020. As a result it is still buggy. And people give PMDG a hard time for being slow on new releases. I truly can't wait for a 737 Max built for MSFS 2024. Why is this taking so long?
  4. One of the most satisfying experiences in airliner sim flying is hand flying an ILS approach in zero visibility and in rain. Seeing the runway perfectly lined up at minimums is very satisfying. That was my objective on this flight. At the very end is a full FSI Panel rating.
  5. Arlanda, Sweden is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. RW 01L has a straight forward approach and is located north of Stockholm.
  6. Back in the sim cockpit after a month off. Recurrent sim training for the sim. Westjet flies from Toronto to Trinidad, Port of Spain. This is video of a Westjet 737-800 landing at Trinidad's Piarco airport. I landed here in real life to get to Tobago.
  7. Meanwhile, serious flight simmers are busy making their home made 787 simulators for their Vector add-on.
  8. This is going to be momentous!!!
  9. Broome, Australia is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. RW 28 has a nice approach in over the Indian Ocean into this beach resort town, home of the 22 km white sand, Cable Beach.
  10. Vaasa, Finland is a featured airport in the MSFS 2024 landing challenge series. Scenic and rural landscape on the approach in.
  11. Repetition makes you better and better at the task at hand. It is the difference between a professional and an amateur.
  12. The intermix comment is interesting. My friend is a 777 Captain that owns a 185. He intermixes weekly because he uses the 185 to commute. He can't wait to retire and be flying the 185 only.
  13. If everyone of those PS5 buyers purchased a PMDG 737-800 and 777-200, PMDG would have additional revenues of $37,291,450. There is money in them there hills!!!
  14. I like both but prefer Airliners. Basically I am a virtual Airliner pilot that owns a TBM and Hondjet. Many career ailriner pilots have their own private plane. Fly airliners for money and GA for fun on days off.
  15. Which do you like better? Yes, you!
  16. Good job on the screenshot. That looks like some corrupt installation files. Did install go smoothly or did you run into issues and have to do an install on top of a previous install? Have you tried zooming in or out on that camera view?
  17. With an NVIDIA video card Alt+ F9 takes a screenshot.
  18. Can I get a screenshot of what you are talking about?
  19. PMDG needs to forget the quest to be the 737 variant add-on King. First add-on developer with a high fidelity 787 wins all the marbles. They will have massive cash flow to become the MSFS 2024 behemoth.
  20. MSFS 2024 classifies Stansted (EGSS) in the United Kingdom as a world famous airport in their precision landing challenge series. I though great let's go see a famous airport in London. It was a long boring approach over farmer's fields. Can someone please tell me why anyone would think Stansted is famous? Admittedly the agrarian scenery was beautiful. Is this what Stansted is famous for? The approach in was so boring that I almost fell asleep and narrowly missed crashing into a farmer's field.
  21. It is very sensitive. One of my yoke buttons is a camera button. I press that button softly and the AP disconnects.
  22. I think PMDG will drop the price wants the run out of FOMO/Early adopter buyers. The 700 shouldn't be the same price as the 738.
