December 23, 2025Dec 23 Does anyone know how to get the 'reset head tracking' to work with Tobii & Chaseplane? I see the toggle head tracking in Chaseplane and that's fine, but I don't see a way to reset the tracking within it. I have a keybind in the Toobi controller setting in the sim but that does not seem to work. December 23, 2025Dec 23 Have you tried SHIFT+SPACEBAR? That is the default view reset within Chaseplane if I recall. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
December 24, 2025Dec 24 I'm having the same issue. The "reset head tracking" setting in the sim wont work since Chaseplane overrides all sim key bindings. I can't find an option for this setting within the Chaseplane. Really happy with it so far but if I move in my seat and then reactivate head tracking in Chaseplane my view is all skewed. I have put in a help ticket to let them know it is kind of a pain. 9800X3D | 5090 | 64GB DDR5 | LG C2 42"

It is the latest update which fixed the RESET EYE/HEAD TRACKING problem for me. Yes, I have the key binding set to one of the buttons on my Virpil flight stick. Same button and key binding I was using before I had Chaseplane installed. I know, this problem is frustrating. I took me a bit to figure it out as well, as on my end it was sometimes working and sometimes not working. But, the info on the latest CP build which pops up after each update when you first open CP in MSFS said this update was focusing on fixing the RESET EYE/HEAD tracking issue with Tobii. You can set the setting to TOGGLE HEAD TRACKING on and off in CP settings, but not the RESET EYE TRACKING...that is only able to be set in MSFS settings as far as I can find. December 24, 2025Dec 24 Do you guys just have head tracking? I was using tobii with open track before installing Chaseplane, now it just seems to natively work with MSFS now, I don’t know if this is because I have installed Chaseplane or if it’s something to do with a recent MSFS update. Mine just seems to be picking up eye tracking now, does anyone know how to disable eye tracking and just use head tracking? thanks Gavin Price
December 24, 2025Dec 24 I am having the exact same problem with my Tobii - I can toggle it on and off - but when I enable HT, the view jumps to behind the Captain's seat with no option to reset it. I just tried updating CP, but it seems I am on the latest version (ran the install/reinstall). Opened a ticket - but maybe someone here has a smart suggestion. Overall - I am loving ChasePlane in 24 - Money well spent. Merry Christmas - Happy holidays. Stephan
December 24, 2025Dec 24 Does anyone know of a keypress to toggle Head Tracking on and off from the Chaseplane settings. I tend to activate Tobii during taxi then turn it off for take off. My Tobii reset still works using the same key bind I used before Chaseplane. Glen

So switch to the desired view, align it to my liking and than toggle to manipulate switches and then toggle again. Then SP would be a buy for me.
