  1. My preference is on the right throttle, I use the Red China Hat -foward- to toggle my afterburners on.
  2. Icing on the cake will be when they can figure out how to get the night vision that was implemented in SU4 to work with Chaseplane.
  3. Menu > Preferences > Camera Movements. In here, I was able to bind all the same controls to my Xbox controller.
  4. Have you tried SHIFT+SPACEBAR? That is the default view reset within Chaseplane if I recall.
  5. Yes, Chaseplane is compatible with Tobii as well as TrackIR. There is a setting within Chaseplane to turn head tracking on or off. I use Chaseplane along with my TrackIR and it's wonderful.
  6. Schrödinger's Q400. Is it alive? Is it dead? We won't ever know until Majestic opens the box.
  7. SHIFT+E and then go fill your glass up, it's half empty.
  8. 50% for the first 2 months after its release. Also this is for 2020 only at initial release but a native 2024 version will soon follow. The purchase covers both versions.
  9. It's nothing high end but I've been using a HyperX headset for over 10 years it seems with no problems with it. Track IR clip has been on it the entire time.
  10. @kdfw__ is right, let it go. Just Flight doesn't owe you a thing. Quit beating a dead horse. If you seek further gratification please do so by using the proper channels and contact Just Flight directly via their Contact page.

  12. It seems that when they say everything is $9.99 for 24 hours, they mean everything, including livery packs that are normally cheaper than $9.99. If you go to the Marketplace sale right now you can grab the livery packs for $1.99. I picked up the E and H model C-130's, been waiting for this sale since they announced that the Hercules are getting an upgraded sound pack. I won't mind ripping around in these for ten bucks each.
  13. So if I understand you correctly, you don't currently own MSFS 2020. But you want the C-47 for MSFS 2024. MSFS 2024 Standard Edition includes the DC-3. Then once the Marketplace becomes available in MSFS 2024 you can just purchase the C-47 for $14.99 which also includes the Waco CG-4A glider. Currently the Marketplace is disabled in 2024 while they work things out with developers. It's expected to come back online in Jan/Feb so you won't have to wait too long for the C-47 to become a standalone purchase for MSFS 2024. I hope that helps.
  14. If you find the documents in your ifly-aircraft-737max8 > Data > Documentation folder, open up the MAX FS2020 User Guide and Tutorial. Head to page 24. The panel you are looking for is #38, called the Right EFIS control panel. Within the panel you will find the range knob. Page 56 goes into further detail about the left and right EFIS panels.
  15. I had some autopilot issues that came up two updates ago and doing an uninstall and reinstall of the aircraft fixed it for me. Might be worth giving that a try. Something must have went funky during the update process.
  16. I don't have a problem with paying upgrade fees. Look.. I can't do what these developers do. It's a skilled trade in my opinion. They should be paid for their work. That was a very good response by Jonx and explains a lot from the developers point of view. We need to understand that yes the 2020 planes will be forward compatible more than 2024 planes will be backwards compatible.
  17. I have no problem with this decision as I'll buy it for version 2024, that's fine. But I do have some conspiracy theories. Inibuilds have had an advanced copy of 2024 for some time (allegedly) as they've been developing default airplanes for the new sim. So they can see something we can't in terms of what the new sim will provide for aircraft development that 2020 does not. Also it could be a decision through their collaboration with Asobo/Microsoft. This A350 will sell VERY well in my opinion. Microsoft could be pushing hard for the A350 to be exclusive to 2024 to sell more copies of the new sim. These are my thoughts and just to be taken lightly and only as a possibility. But in the end, the only people who know the truth to this decision are Ini and maybe Microsoft.
  18. I suppose the tweaking needed is in the eyes of the beholder. I'd rather take the developers word for it. They were the ones who did the most research. It's a tale as old as time in the flight sim world, no matter how realistic a plane is said to be by person A, there will always be a person B who says it's wrong.
  19. Thank you for your service and also for your insights into the T-33 from Inibuilds. I think most importantly there is a very high fun factor with this jet. It is priced very well and is accessible to a lot of users. You can just jump in and fly if you want and have a good time. Having seen the Ace Maker III perform a few months ago at an air show, it really makes one like myself go "Oh I saw that one!!" So of course I bought it right away on release day. I hope to see more from this era of military aviation in the sim.

  21. They said in their forum that they are working on a very basic autopilot to come in an update. Nothing fancy that will follow a route but we should at least see heading hold and altitude hold.
  22. I'm going to buy more products from //42 just to spite you all.
  23. ORBX Summer Sale! 57% of products are 10% off. 16% of products are 20% off. 10% of products are 30% off. 15% of products are 40% off. 2% of products are 50% off!!!! There. Fixed the headline so there won't be any more confusion.
  24. I think this is the best tip here. I always have all my scenery activated in my library. I never have made a fuss about only having active what I will be using. But I think the biggest unnecessary VAS draw would be overflying big airports and what not and having them load when you don't need them to. Such as for myself, If I were to fly from Monterrey to Sonoma County in California I would deactivate FlightBeam's KSFO and ORBX KSQL. I don't need those drawing VAS when I'm going directly overhead at 20,000 feet. So other than anything you'll be directly overflying, I wouldn't worry about it much.
  25. I'm very happy with MyTrafficX. It comes with generally aviation, military and commercial traffic. But if you just wanted to see general aviation traffic you could just move the traffic sliders in your P3D settings, commercial to 0% and general aviation to what level pleases your needs.
