  • Man these approaches look really bad.  I was hoping Bill would do this, but it seems it's up to the community again. None of the current Portland tree and water fixes are very high quality so I decide

  • I still do not understand why interior are made....those are wasteful resources on vram, memory, cpu etc.  Is there a market for airport interiors? Looks cool though

I wonder how many of us actually spend time viewing the terminal interiors regardless of detail? Unfortunately, for my eyes, the appearance of the people instantly kills any level of inside detailing.

Railroad crossing clinched it for me...

200% More llamas!? Are they out of their minds!

I don't mind the people. What I wonder is why spend so much time developing an airport interior when there's work to be done outside of the airport. For example, at KPDX, I often experience visible water lines in the river and the bridges need fixing. That should be the priority. But, I bet that those things has not be addressed. We have to hope that a freeware developer fixes those minor issues.

BTW, to me the above issues ruin a beautiful area in the PNW.

Not sure if I missed it, but are they offering a discount to customers with the current version?

50% for the first 2 months after its release. Also this is for 2020 only at initial release but a native 2024 version will soon follow. The purchase covers both versions.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

I've always been somewhat anti-interiors. I used to say those frames are much better spent outside. I guess with mega-RAM setups and 14th Gen i7's etc we can maybe afford to have some interiors without the old fps hit. You can cleverly model & texture your buildings though to appear like they have interiors from the cockpit though.

Humans in the terminal definitely fall into the uncanny valley. I'd replace every last one of them with llamas.

Detailed interiors make a massive difference to immersion for me, and I am just thankful that even my low specification PC can handle them at 1080p resolution. I just love rolling up to (for example) Gate 9 at EGNX East Midlands, and seeing the interior detail on display right in front of me.
