  1. Maybe they are going to purge the idiots from the system? Probably useful downtime if so.
  2. Anyone who says that the issue is not present/has been fixed is just plane wrong. In fact, it also affects user aircraft. I can see the wheels of my PMDG 737 disappear beyond a certain distance.
  3. It will be a paid expansion pack to the base package.
  4. The current UK2000 version includes the coloured dots on the runways.
  5. The initial release will be the 200 passenger version, with winglet and no winglet options, and two different engine types. The 300 will be a free update when it becomes available.
  6. Gary Summons (UK2000) recently released KOSH Wittman Regional for MSFS 2020 and 2024. That is the standard airport scenery, but he is very keen to develop an Air Venture version at some point next year. That will take a considerable amount of time and preparation, which is why he has decided to do it separately from the main airport product release.
  7. That's great, but........where is that 777 update? You know, the "bouncy castle fix" update 😉
  8. Tickets are now available to be purchased, together with registration for the event (including a goody bag on the day). https://fsimuk.bfsg.club/
  9. I think he was being sarcastic.
  10. I look at the scenery until I engage manual control at around 1500 feet. Then I glance at the scenery for the rest of the descent 😉
  11. Is the Bluebird Simulations 757 going to be released with passenger and cargo versions, or only passenger?
  12. It does not work in AI Offline mode. At all. That is the problem.
  13. There are multiple runways at KBOS Boston International, and I would use all of them. Final approaches to some of them will take me close to downtown Boston, so I would need it.
  14. I use TAA (which is SSAA for any DSR enhanced resolutions), but I think that there is also a separate setting for DLSS.
  15. I am always tempted by FlyTampa KBOS, but I think that I would also need SamScene Boston to complement it.
  16. The maximum range with full auxiliary tanks is up to 6000 nautical miles. That is twice the distance from EGKK-KBOS.
  17. This one is definitely on my target list. Ease of use right from the start is very important to me with simulated aircraft, and the 757 systems will be very similar to the 737NG. I am glad to see that the two engine options will be included in one package, as that kind of variety is exactly what I look for. I love hearing different engine sounds for different engine types, and also noting the differences in performance.
  18. I set DSR to 1.5x in the MSFS 2024 graphics menu. I also have TLOD @ 250 and OLOD @ 200. None of this 100/100 nonsense. I also have framerate set to Unlimited, and I do not bother checking the figures. Whilst I always fly in calm weather, I do generally use a Custom Scattered Clouds option that has three layers. I do not currently have animated AI planes active, but I do have static AI aircraft that are placed based on the AIG flightplans, and I have the entire database of AIG models and flightplans installed.
  19. I think quite a few other users would be better off dropping the screen resolution down from 4K. The latter is part of the problem in many cases.
  20. "I can reopen the subject internally, but I would need you to provide me with as much material demonstrating the issue as possible. So if you can record videos showing obvious objects disappearing on ultra wide screens or in VR, this would help a lot." That is a quote from the MSFS Forum on April 28 this year. How can you have reached 2026 without already knowing about this issue?? It has been a problem for over five years!!
  21. That was actually the case for me recently with LOWI Innsbruck. I had purchased the IniBuilds version for MSFS 2024, thinking that the hand crafted version of the airport was the same as the one in MSFS 2020. Then I noticed a couple of issues with the IniBuilds version that annoyed me, and I uninstalled it. I then decided to check out the hand crafted version in MSFS 2024, and discovered that it had been significantly updated, and is every bit as good as the IniBuilds version. Even better, those "issues" that I noted with the IniBuilds version are not a problem in the hand crafted version.
  22. The title of the thread is very clear. People are just not reading it properly!
  23. I have been flying a few of them today, and they have all worked fine. I have heard reports that saved panel states from before installation of the update may be the source of the problem. If you use those, then it is probably a good idea to delete them (back them up first).
  24. I certainly hope that is the case. Long term stability would suit me just fine.
