  1. I have not even seen Season 2 yet! Where can I watch that?
  2. I think it is worth pointing out that Anthony Gordon set up both of those Harry Kane goals. He needs to get a bit more credit for his part in the England comeback 👍
  3. That is highly probable. Some developers really need to sharpen up with stuff like that. I edited literally thousands of AFD files in FSX and P3D over the years, and some of that was because of misalignment between AI pathways and taxiway centrelines (and AI parking spots for that matter).
  4. Mexico statistics at the Azteca Stadium..... Played 88 Won 69 Drawn 17 Lost 2 That is one hell of a mountain to climb and it backs up my claim that Mexico have an unfair advantage when our players have no time to adjust.
  5. I would not quite say that. Jude Bellingham was very unlucky not to score, and the DRC goalkeeper had a spectacular night. As for Mexico, England will need to be careful. The main consideration is the altitude. In fact, I would even suggest that playing a World Cup match at that kind of altitude is not really fair to those players who do not live there. I am not making excuses prior to the match, but the oxygen levels at 7000 feet are significantly lower than at sea level (about 24% lower). A team whose players are used to this surely have a rather big advantage?
  6. Two points I would like to make after watching that video.... The waiting aircraft need to be on the taxiway centreline Would it be possible to get a waiting aircraft to start the taxi out to the runway before the landing plane has exited the runway (assuming that there are no other aircraft on short final)?
  7. Harry the Hero! I just hope that Tuchel can ram it into their thick skulls that they need to sprint out of the blocks from the start, not 60 minutes into the match.
  8. I am going to be positive, and say 4-0 to England.
  9. It is called Microsoft Flight Simulator, but who are you to tell others what they can or cannot do on their own PCs? For the record, this is more than just a flight simulator. It is fast becoming a world experience simulator. There is an avatar mode for a reason, and that drone camera is fun to use as an exploration device.......including terminal and hangar interiors. It is also extremely handy for beta testing purposes.
  10. That one is for MSFS 2024. The OP specifically referred to MSFS 2020.
  11. As far as I am aware, this is because some developers apply solid collision meshes to the buildings that force the drone camera up and over the top. I do not know why some do this and others do not, but I agree that it is somewhat frustrating. Interestingly, there are times when I have actually been able to enter a terminal building with the drone camera, but then been "bumped up to the roof" on every subsequent attempt. I remember this happening at the hand crafted version of LSZB Bern.
  12. Based on what I have heard, maybe they should have called themselves "Scenery Degradation"?
  13. If England play positively, they can beat anyone. The problem is that they rarely do!!
  14. England need to learn to adapt when they face "bus parking" opposition. That is what champions do. EDIT: Please get rid of those automatically played video adverts. They are getting tiresome.
  15. I have to laugh at the news reports that Germany were "robbed". England have been "robbed" many times over the years, so I will not be shedding a tear.
  16. Despite being a big supporter of switching PG off, I would say that Ryan's PG on screenshot looks more realistic than the PG off screenshot. However, before everyone starts saying "I told you so", it has to be remembered that these shots are not at very close range. The real issue that I have with PG is when it is close to an airport, and this is where the "warping", low resolution textures, and "melted buildings" issues become obvious. That is something that I can never accept. The "autogen only" option looks perfectly fine to me from inside the cockpit, so that is why I use it.
  17. Yes, but there is still the requirement to be able to climb on one engine at MTOW when an engine fails on take off. I am sure that the ATR is capable of that (or it would not be flying), but personally I would feel more comfortable with plenty of extra power in a situation like that.
  18. My framerate is always set to Unlimited, and I have several hundred gigabytes of airport and scenery addons installed in the Community folders. However, the load time of MSFS 2024 from desktop to main menu has hardly changed. As stated previously, it is around 1m45s.
  19. One aspect of weather that annoys me the most is the flat cloud base. Surely not all clouds are as flat as a pancake at the base? The clouds can look really nice (despite the textures being fuzzy, which is probably a limitation of the voxel method with which they are generated), but I really hate seeing that uniform flat underside whenever I am ascending into them (or descending below them). It just feels unrealistic.
  20. That's an astonishing revelation! Why does the ATR not have more powerful engines?
  21. I also have a CH Flightstick Pro joystick, so proper nose wheel steering with this is essential! This is easy with the PMDG aircraft, so I would expect it to be no different with the JustFlight Fokker 70/100.
  22. It is less about keeping spare components for me, and more about nostalgia. Whilst I do have spare power cables/ethernet cables etc, I also have some components from previous PCs that have emotional value to me..... 16GB (2x8GB sticks) Hyper X Fury 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM from the Intel i5 2500k powered PC that I used between 2011 and 2014 8GB (1x8GB stick) Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz DDR4 RAM that I used for testing in the i5 4690k powered PC that came after it 2TB Toshiba DT01 ACA200 HDD that I used in my i5 4690k powered PC between 2014 and 2019 SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Music soundcard that I used in at least two PCs, and seemed to last forever! Intel i5 4690k CPU that powered the PC that I used the entire time that I previously visited UK flightsim shows (August 2014 to December 2019) Pride of place in my collection goes to the i5 7600k powered PC that was the first (and so far the only) system that I built entirely by myself. I will never get rid of that one. It holds such a special place in my heart ❤️
  23. This deserves to be a massive success. I have been waiting for the UK Flightsim Show to return for a very long time, and we need it to stick around for an even longer time! If anyone reading these words has never been to a flightsim show, you really do not know what you are missing. It is great to be able to see the latest software and hardware, but arguably the best part about a show like this is being able to talk with other flight simmers about the hobby. I never get the chance to do that at any other time, so being able to talk to others about it without getting blank stares is a massive thrill! My advice to anyone who is new to flightsim shows is to try and get involved. Get talking, to anyone that you can (exhibitor or visitor). I can guarantee you that it will be well worth the effort 👍 Based on what I have read over on the FSimUK 2026 discord channel, it seems that purchasing a 12 month ticket direct from the Aerospace Bristol website will be enough to gain you access to both days of the flightsim show. In addition, the exhibition is going to be spread around the museum, including the Concorde hangar! If that is the case, then I am going to be taking a lot of photos and video on my mobile phone, and hopefully catch a few of you guys at the same time 😉
  24. Can selecting fuel load/cargo be done via the FMS? In other words, can I bypass the EFB? It always felt a bit "clunky" with the Avro RJ Professional, and it looks like a very similar format with the Fokker 70/100.
  25. On a side note, Claudius......can your signature be updated now?
