  1. I already have the NGXu but I’m a sucker for a pretty 737, so I’ll pick this one for sure if there is a discount for owners of the previous version. Cheers, Pete
  2. Is there a decent NZAA yet? I have Flightbeam’s outstanding P3d version but I only see one freeware NZAA available for MSFS. Cheers, Pete
  3. Just saw this for the first time now. It reminds me of being on line at the grocery store deli counter. Once me number is called I’ll have a pound of sliced turkey and a half pound of ham. Maybe a bit of macaroni salad too. Cheers, Pete
  4. I wish every developer would respond as professional and thoughtful as Ricardo. It is hard not to support someone with such transparency and professionalism as we see with Ricardo and LVFR. Of course I do have almost all of his products, which are of high quality, so I am perhaps a bit biased. Cheers, Pete
  5. Same here, it appears it has been down for several hours as I tried to get in earlier today. Cheers, Pete
  6. Thanks very much for that explanation Ricardo! This certainly looks like something that would suit my needs. Cheers, Pete
  7. I am aware of that. I, personally, am more concerned with traffic at the airports than in the air since I don't tend to see much traffic when flying anyway. Of course I would love it to be working traffic, but I will take what I can get. The empty airports really are a downer. Cheers, Pete
  8. I just saw this on SimMarket: https://secure.simmarket.com/latinvfr-airport-static-aircraft-for-asobo-airports-msfs.phtml. If this is what it seems to be, it is precisely what I am look for. Upon looking at the description, it appears that the traffic only works at the airports listed. I am not sure if I am understanding correctly though. Cheers, Pete
  9. Other than installing the airports last week, I really haven't had a chance to look too much at the details. From my limited time at several of those airports, they looked very good. I wouldn't have noticed any of the minor issues. Cheers, Pete
  10. I don't think so, you just unzip and install into the community folder manually. If someone knows otherwise please correct me. Cheers, Pete
  11. I just got an email about a new airport that will be released on Saturday (LEVX), very nice! These guys are really something. Cheers, Pete
  12. What would be silly in reality is any business decision that doesn’t maximize profits over the long term. Just because something is “the best product out there” doesn’t mean the price is right. And just because the price was right yesterday, doesn’t mean the price is right today. Of course, I do not work for FSL, and I am not qualified to determine what is, in fact, the right price. Cheers, Pete
  13. I don't think the issue here is that everyone expects FSL to automatically reduce the price. From my perspective, I may consider purchasing the FSL Package, but for the fact that MSFS now seems to be the target market for flight simulation. I still use P3dv5 for most of my flying, but I can't justify spending money at the current FSL asking price, because I am not certain as when and if my P3d days may end. This, of course, is solely my choice. Obviously, no one has a crystal ball so I can't predict that. It would seem reasonable to me that there are several folks that think the same way I do, and that they are also hesitant to spend so much on a platform with an uncertain future. Also, since I have the Aerosoft package, and have had it since it was released years ago, I am happy enough with it that I don't need to spend the extra cash. However, I would be tempted to do so if the FSL price were lower. Again, FSL has every right to charge whatever they want, so no complaints here, just an observation. I am just wondering if they are hurting themselves doing so. I suppose that is an answer that only they can determine. Cheers, Pete
  14. Why is it always assumed that if someone thinks the price is too high, that they can’t afford it? Please. There are a lot of things I can afford to buy but will not do so because they appear to be overpriced. Cheers, Pete
