Captain JUNK!

Humm, I just might get the 717-200.  There are no good 717 available and this is the only one for MSFS at the moment.    Anyone that have this know if VNAV works and if  anyone tried it on MSFS2024?.  I didn't see any mention in the description unless I missed it.

$10 also for each livery pack (as much as the plane).  Ripoff.

Ha, ha.  yea, I am not expecting much for $10 bucks...as long as it can fly from A to B I'll be happy, no VNAV though is a bummer but that's ok.  Also, by checking out the forms, seem like it runs well in MSFS2024.  I'll give it a go and see for myself. '

It seems that when they say everything is $9.99 for 24 hours, they mean everything, including livery packs that are normally cheaper than $9.99. If you go to the Marketplace sale right now you can grab the livery packs for $1.99. 

I picked up the E and H model C-130's, been waiting for this sale since they announced that the Hercules are getting an upgraded sound pack. I won't mind ripping around in these for ten bucks each. 

They sure have made some bizarre product release decisions over the years, and customer service may not be their forte, but for anyone still on P3D like me the 737-classic (I just picked up the 500 extension tonight) and the 757 and 767 are all pretty good and great value at $10. Don't bother w the 767-freighter add-on tho, that was a "classic" CS move that one

I guess I'll give the 757 a go. I already have their 737 classics and 767. The L-1011... there weren't almost any users down here. I'll pass.

Buy the plane today, buy the liveries tomorrow (when they go down to their original price)?

I have the 757 and 767 in P3DV5 and they are not bad, especially since there the only one of those models available for P3D. However I didn’t save the 757 installer and tried to download from there website but get a severe Trojan threat. I could allow it through but am hesitant to do so. 
Anyone else ?

Possibly related but I recently wen't to upgrade the 757 to the latest release, I only have MS Windows Defender which I scanned the installer with and it didn't complain (yeah I know it's not the best A/V), anyway I'd forgotten I'd recently upgraded my CPU and the CS libraries that run when you load up their aircraft must do some low level hardware check to make sure you haven't reinstalled or pirated the install, and P3D would crash when I selected the 757. What I did was uninstalled the 757 completely then reinstalled with the latest installer and my install ID and then was all good. It COULD be that your AV is seeing something in the code in the 757 libs that is doing that sort of thing? Just a guess

Thanks for the reply. MS Windows defender is what I have as well. Just too scary these days to open the window when there's a warning that there might be a vampire outside.

Had the same issue with MS security essentials. There's discussion of it on their forum and they assure there is no virus in their installers. I picked up the entire 757 package for P3D4, installed with no issues. Except the activation which refused to work with the installer. Using the manual activation process solved this and the installers then ran normally. So far, I'm quite happy with the aircraft. Not PMDG level, but far more functional than the Qualitywings version.
