I haven’t experienced what you guys have but I just want to say my heart is warmed by every post. I’m 74 and we just learned our 50 year old son in law has pancreatic cancer. They have 13 year old twins, a boy and girl and the boy is on the autistic spectrum. Last week we had to see our daughter crying like a little girl saying I don’t know how to handle this or if I can. He’s a successful builder, strong, good mental and moral fiber and has never had any destructive vices other than soft drinks. Brakes our hearts thinking about what’s ahead for our daughter and grand kids. All any of us can do is take each day as it comes. “Into every life must come some trouble, when we worry we make it double”.

But do you have to ask for your download then wait for a reply? I like the pay, and play today concept. Seems the case with all other pay-ware developers. Even freeware for that matter.

Happy Labor Day gang! XPlane has magnificently pulled me more into learning GA flying because of the flight dynamics realism along with so many other joyful elements. Many of these birds are more complex and challenging not to mention versatile and fun then any tubular jet liner. Now my dilemma. From a recent thread here I learned of Jetstream FS and have my eyes on the Chieftain and or Seneca II. What constrains me is reading here and elsewhere that after placing there order customers have to contact the developer and send sometimes more than one request for their product. I really don't like the idea of waiting days after paying, jumping through hoops and having to stand on my head and whistle Dixie with a mouth full of soda crackers to get what I paid for. Has anyone else had experience with https://www.jetstreamfs.com/ that they would care to share? Those aircraft look really nice and I would like to have one or two in my hanger but not with that much aggravation. Goes to show how powerful word of mouth referral positive or negative can be. .

So, I wonder what they updated. I saw the announcement on the FF forum but no details given about the update.

Exactly what I’m trying to find out.

Can any one tell me if the "original base enhancement" in XP Map Enhancement is really an improvement over the default terrain that comes with XP12? It calls itself an enhancement but is it really a better default scenery. Quite a large download so I thought I would seek advice before I do. Thoughts/opinions? I noticed SIM WORLD pro makes the non ortho scenery look pretty decent. I might fly with that a while.

LOL if I can do it anyone can. When you download the Zipo and Level UP 737NGs you’ll think you’ve committed larceny to get such a high fidelity aircraft for free. With ortho products like map enhancement and sim heaven, both freeware or an inexpensive pro version XPlane 12 looks very good. Its binding system is very intuitive and easy to set up. So many things that don’t require a utility addon like the camera system and even push back is free. Lighting system is great and default airports are so good I feel no need to purchase an endless stable of addon airports. I just started using XP12 last fall and could go on singing the praises but this is the P3D forum and I don’t mean to be impolite so I’ll add my P3DV5 stays installed and still looks vibrant due to expensive addons collected over a decade. Too much to walk away from. I don’t see a resurgence in the hobby market by LM. Personally I’m too old to start over if there was one. That’s a big thing about XP12 is it comes with so many features you don’t have to buy addons for.

Only if it would be impressive enough to draw the primary aircraft developers back. Otherwise I think it would be a non factor.

I believe there is a first officer plug in for the Zipo. Not sure about LU. Any one use her? Always appreciated the FS2 Crew in P3D days. Not crazy about having a cartoonish avatar sitting next to me. To me that’s more immersion busting than an empty seat. Nice to have my voice commands reacted to though.

I just hand flew the LU NG-900, this time taking greater care to the loading distribution. Makes a big difference in pitch stability. I mean who would have thunk it, right?🫢

OK, maybe that's the difference. The NGXu loads through the FMC and automatically distributes the CG. I'll take another look.

Very nice video. One question. Does that aura-xcamera system offer anything more than X-camera from stick and rudder studios which is what I use?

Yea. I just did some hand flown comparison circuits between the LU and PMDG NGXu in P3DV5.4. Trying to pitch the Level Up to maintain an altitude is a lesson in frustration. It's like a constant see saw. Not near as bad in the NGXu or Zipo. Credit where credits due, the PMDG in P3DV5 is the most stable.

It is very easy. After downloading just open the rar file using winzip 7and copy to your custom scenery folder. Be sure to install the library file as well.
