February 11Feb 11 ChasePlane has been updated on 2026-02-11. 2026.7.3.16 If you are using Tobii Eye Tracker, you must assign "Recenter Tobii Eye Tracker" in the Control Assignments section of ChasePlane for the reset function to work correctly. Added a control assignment to "Recenter Tobii Eye Tracker". Added controls to go to the first view in a next or previous view category. Added a Reset Eyepoint Position button in Preferences to manually reset the eyepoint when needed. Added duplicate control assignment detection that shows a warning when the same control combination is used in multiple places. Added a tutorial video for setting up head and eye tracking hardware. The Import page now shows when views were last modified, making it easier to find recently updated aircraft. Reverse X and Reverse Y controls are now group-specific settings instead of global preferences, allowing you to configure them independently for each view group. View name shortcuts now require exact matching by default. Use * at the start or end of a name for partial matches (e.g., 'Pilot*' matches 'Pilot View' but not 'Copilot'). Improved input priority so complex button combinations behave more consistently. Improved reliability when using different network configurations. Improved control cheat sheet. Improved support for file paths with special or non-English characters on Windows. Improved error logging to help troubleshoot connection issues more effectively. Fixed a crash that occurred when deleting the last name suggestion from a view group. Fixed a crash when importing camera CFG files. Fixed an issue where camera inputs would trigger when the Steam Overlay is visible. Fixed crashes some users saw when using VPNs or virtual network adapters. Fixed control mapping issues when device names include special characters. Fixed Smart View previews not resetting after releasing controls. Fixed duplicate triggers when using complex button combinations. Fixed an issue where cloud sync would incorrectly process some views during validation. Fixed modifier keys blocking other controls when used in certain combinations. Update Instructions: Download the new installer from your //42 account to install this update. Your views and settings will not be lost. You can always download the latest version from your //42 account. February 11Feb 11 Ran update now chaseplane will not open. I hope I have not lost all my settings. Any ideas on how to get it to work again?? ***Went back to last version and that one works*** Edited February 11Feb 11 by Darcy
February 11Feb 11 Just installed over previous version and all good. Checked some views only. Did not fly. But no need to fly to check it works Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

February 12Feb 12 Currently with this lastest update im experiencing an issue that was not happening prior. Let me try to explain. I currently have a Wing view mapped to NUM-1 I currently have an exterior tail cam view mapped to NUM-0 + NUM-1 The issue im having is that CP goes to the wing view first when I press NUM-0 + NUM-1 then have to press again to get to the tail cam. Previously this never happened and can switch between views no issue not having to go to one view before the other because there is a similar mapped key. I hope that makes sense Jay| PPL ASEL || Ryzen 7 7800x3D | MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio 24Gb | ASUS X670E-E ROG Strix | 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 | x2 32' 4K | Windows 11
February 12Feb 12 Little disappointing on nothing regarding VR, particularly the CTD when switching between VR/Flat Screen. To me if that was resolved I can ignore the double mouse issue. Regardless, happy to see the continued support for Chaseplane, hopefully the next update resolves it 🙂

February 12Feb 12 I'm holding off updating as my ChasePlane is working flawlessly with my Tobi Eye Tracker. Many of the fixed items are things I didn't have problems with. February 14Feb 14 Icing on the cake will be when they can figure out how to get the night vision that was implemented in SU4 to work with Chaseplane. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
February 14Feb 14 Is it fairly easy to disable chaseplane, so I can still use the native FCR replay? As simple as disabling it in say, Addon Linker? Thanks i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k
