  2. 'Version 3.9.3 April 18th, 2026 - GSX Pro NEW: Automatic hotfix updates. Between full releases, fixes can now be delivered in the background: the auto-restarter downloads them as they become available, the MSFS toolbar panel shows a banner when one is ready, and a new menu entry applies the hotfix and restarts the GSX engine. Users can also decline and keep running the previous version until the next full release. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Towing can now be re-planned from the pause menu. While towing is paused you can choose "Customize route on Map" to open the airport map with a fresh route recomputed from the tug's current position, then edit it as usual (prefer / block taxi segments) and resume with the new route. You can also click a different parking on the map to change the destination entirely — the tug smoothly picks up the new plan where it stands. - GSX (all versions) NEW: All taxiing ground vehicles (pushback, tow, fuel truck, de-ice, catering, baggage loader, GPU, passenger bus, water, stairs) now follow more natural, realistic paths on approach and departure — smoother curves and fewer awkward zig-zags. - GSX (all versions) NEW: The 2D pushback quick-edit map auto-wizard is now taxiway-aware. Automatic waypoints follow the airport taxi graph instead of drawing a blind curve from start to end, so the generated pushback path stays on actual pavement even at complex gates. - GSX (all versions) Change: The Push-in-to-Park dropdown (Nose-In / Tail-In selection) is now visible in all production builds. It was previously only shown with the debug flag enabled. - GSX (all versions) Change: Aborting a towing operation now smoothly decelerates the tug for ~2 seconds before stopping, preventing the aircraft inertia slide that could previously occur on an instant abort. - GSX (all versions) Change: Airport map drawing performance improved via Direct2D renderer, batched line drawing and cached text extents for a smoother experience with dense airport graphs. - GSX (all versions) Change: Airport map zoom-to-fit now includes the user aircraft position when framing the route, keeping the plane visible alongside the planned taxi path. - GSX (all versions) Change: Route editor on the map now uses smart single-click toggling on taxi segments: clicking an off-route taxiway marks it preferred, clicking a currently-routed taxiway marks it blocked, clicking again clears the mark. Blocked segments are drawn with a red overlay; preferred segments with a highlighted color. - GSX (all versions) Change: When opening the route editor while parked at a gate, the customizable route now starts at the parking itself instead of overshooting into the adjacent taxiway. Previously the rendered path appeared to backtrack along the taxiway before proceeding to the destination. - GSX (all versions) Change: Heading-aware forward node selection for vehicle leave routes. After a service completes, vehicles pick a taxi graph node ahead of their current position and heading instead of the geometrically-nearest one — eliminates the case where a vehicle finished its back-off and then pivoted 180° to enter the taxi network, sometimes clipping into the aircraft. - GSX (all versions) Change: De-ice right-side truck now waits 10–15 seconds (was 6–10) before backing off and leaving at regular gates, so the two trucks don't converge onto the same taxi segment simultaneously on departure. - GSX Pro Change: Auto-restarter now recovers from a hung Couatl engine automatically, instead of waiting for it to crash. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Mototok towbarless pushback was not being detected when the tug vehicle was materialized dynamically — the pushback would fall back to a towbar configuration. The towbarless mode is now detected right after tug spawn and the push operation starts in the correct configuration. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Pathfinding and sparse-waypoint route building now yield periodically to the scheduler while computing long routes, so vehicle animations already in progress no longer stutter when another service starts a new route calculation. - GSX (all versions) Fix: De-ice trucks would back off the aircraft and then do a visible 180° reversal before taxiing away, sometimes clipping the aircraft. The leave route now anchors on the truck's own post-backoff pose and joins the taxi network at a forward node, giving a smooth, realistic departure. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Some VDGS models could be invisible on the first activation of the parking editor, only showing a ghost cursor; cycling the object with PgUp/PgDn made the model appear. - GSX (all versions) Fix: When requesting an additional service at a gate that was already prepared, traffic cones and the fuel manhole could be removed as the gate was re-prepared. A missing manhole at underground-refueling gates caused the fuel truck to arrive without the operator crew animation connecting to the pit. Cones and manhole are now preserved when the parking hasn't changed. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Push-in tow vehicle was not dematerialized when the service was destroyed or cancelled before completion, leaving a visible orphan tug at the gate. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Parking editor could crash when opening a parking whose VDGS model is missing from the installed assets. Now logs a warning identifying the missing model title and continues. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Couatl engine restart from the tray-bar menu could hang indefinitely when the airport map or any other modal dialog was open. The restart path now closes all top-level dialogs before posting the quit message, so the engine cleans up and re-launches as expected. - GSX Pro Fix: Stale menu entries could remain visible in the MSFS toolbar after warping to another parking. The menu is now cleared as soon as the warp starts. - GSX P3D Fix: Crash (AttributeError on '_airportHandlerActive') when engaging an airport that had never previously initialized the handler state.' 4. '@everyone Well, the sad news we feared all along is now here. FlightRadar24 has notified us that the unpaid API the FSLTL injector uses will be shut down on **April 30, 2026**. __**Why?**__ In our discussions with FR24, we had hoped a low-cost option/plan for their current for-cost API might be made available for users to purchase directly from FR24 that could then be used in the FSLTL injector. Unfortunately, that option never came to be, and the normal pricing for the FR24 API is very cost prohibitive. Some of our estimates were in the range of over $20 for a single 3 hour sim flight with 20 AI aircraft in range. That just isn't going to work. There's a reason most of the big paid ATC/traffic injectors out there for MSFS2020/2024 don't use live data natively... its expensive! __**So what now?**__ On or before April 30, 2026, we'll need to release a version of the FSLTL injector that does not include the current FR24 API calls we've been using. That will basically leave the injector as static aircraft injection only. We'll then be on the search for potential alternative providers. Based on previous research and discussions with different providers in the past, we doubt we'll find a free provider that would provide all the data the current injector is coded to use. But we're going to continue searching high and low for a solution. It could also mean partnering with a provider that is willing to work with us to offer a low-cost option for users to use if they so wish. FSLTL itself will **ALWAYS** be free. If you have an actual human contact with a data provider, not just the data provider's name or URL, please get in touch with us. In the end, in terms of the FSLTL injector, we'll probably end up in one of these outcomes: - We find a no-cost provider of live data for use with the FSLTL injector - We find a low-cost provider of live data users would purchase on their own for use with the FSLTL injector - The injector stays static aircraft only - The injector as a whole dies __*But let us be clear*__... we don't blame FR24 for their decision and hold no ill will towards them. FlightRadar24 is a for-profit business and like any business, want to be compensated for the use of their product. Completely understandable. They could have turned off the unpaid API at any time in the past and we would have been in this same position. For a long time, FSLTL being a free addon for the flight sim community granted us some leeway in our use of the API. But business is business... and combined with this free data being used by other for-cost 3rd party applications with no compensation, it's understandable FR24 would want to shut down this legacy API and force a switch to their current paid API. And who knows... maybe in the future we can come to an agreement with FR24 on a more affordable option to use with the FSLTL injector. __**When?**__ Besides the injector release on or before April 30, 2026 mentioned above, we have no ETA for anything else related to the FSLTL injector. We'll announce news when we have it. __**Base Models**__ The above **DOES NOT** impact FSLTL Base Models. It will remain available, we'll continue to release updates when we can with new and updated models, liveries, VMR files, etc.' Source

  10. Version 3.9.2 April 15th, 2026 - GSX (all versions) NEW: Taxi route customization on the airport map. When selecting FollowMe, Progressive Taxi or Towing, you can now click "Customize route on Map" to open the airport map and visually edit the route by clicking on taxiways to prefer or unprefer them. The route recalculates in real time through preferred taxiways. Taxiway labels are shown on the map at intermediate zoom levels for easier identification. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Push-in to Park (Tail-in parking). Gates can now be configured for tail-in parking, where a tug pushes the aircraft backward into the gate. Dual-use gates offer a Nose-In / Tail-In choice when selecting a parking position. All ground services work correctly with tail-in parked aircraft, including mirrored vehicle positions and automatic skip of departure pushback. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Pushback and towing can now be paused and resumed from the menu. The tug decelerates and accelerates progressively, and walkers switch to idle animation during the pause. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Distance ruler in both 2D and 3D pushback route editors, showing major ticks every 10m and minor ticks every 1m for precise waypoint positioning. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Menu timeout is now configurable via a slider in the Timings settings tab (20–120 seconds). - GSX Pro NEW: Auto-restarter integration. If the GSX engine crashes, the MSFS toolbar panel detects it via heartbeat monitoring and shows status messages while the auto-restarter brings it back. - GSX Pro Change: MSFS toolbar menu now opens faster in normal use. The loading spinner is deferred and only appears if the menu takes longer than expected to load. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler scripts: new onFilterModels callback allows handlers to force-include or force-exclude vehicle models before the selection pipeline, and inject custom parameters into model condition evaluation. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler scripts: new onChoosePushInMode callback allows handlers to force push-in or normal mode on dual-use gates. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler scripts: new doorInTransit property and waitForDoorTransit() method on aircraft exits, for detecting and waiting on door animations in progress. - GSX Pro NEW: Handler scripts: aviramp property on the handler allows overriding the gate's aviramp setting at the handler level, eliminating timing issues with per-gate writes. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler scripts: per-parking jetwayPathThickness option in the airport customization dialog, separate from passenger path thickness. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Airport graph node snapping. Gaps of up to 2 meters between disconnected taxiway nodes are automatically bridged, improving taxi route calculation at airports with fragmented BGL graph data. - GSX (all versions) Change: Towing menu labels renamed to "Request Towing to Gate" / "Stop Towing" for clarity. - GSX (all versions) Change: Push-in operator chair now rotates to pull orientation during tow and back to push orientation at detach. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Engine restart could freeze when the airport map had been opened during the session, caused by background tile download threads blocking the shutdown sequence. - GSX (all versions) Fix: MARS sub-position switch could leak properties (noPassengerStairs, hasJetway, etc.) from the previous sub-position when switching directly between two sub-positions without restoring the parent first. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Traffic cones and fuel manhole were not cleaned up when switching gates, leaving stale objects from the previous gate. - GSX Pro Fix: MSFS toolbar menu could stop responding after rapid open/close cycles, caused by stale tasklet references blocking the menu channel. - GSX Pro Fix: MSFS toolbar menu third-party automation tools (BATC, etc.) could miss selections due to a ~100ms blind window during menu channel drain. Reduced to ~16ms. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Fuel display crash when the SimObject text was destroyed mid-refueling. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash in cargo loader when the bridge/platform tasklets were still running after dematerialization. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Revoking services when not engaged could leave orphaned vehicles from gate preparation. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Silent crash in the audio engine (soft_oal.dll) when Python code held an emitter reference past audio system shutdown. All OpenAL calls now check for valid context before proceeding. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Audio engine shutdown ordering: emitters could briefly see the audio system as "initialized" while contexts were already destroyed, causing crashes during concurrent playback. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Animation use-after-free crash when a tasklet was suspended mid-animation and another tasklet reset the animation queue. The animation system now re-checks state validity after every yield point. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash in conveyor belt and cargo loader when re-materializing a vehicle after its parent had been dematerialized, caused by a null audio library reference. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Airport data cache could grow unbounded during long sessions, consuming increasing amounts of memory. - GSX (all versions) Fix: SimBrief reload while already engaged could cause the VDGS to re-enter lead-in mode. 13. Version 3.9.1 April 11th, 2026 - GSX (all versions) NEW: Push-in Towing service. A towbarless tug can tow your aircraft from the taxiway to the gate at high speed, with automatic route selection along taxiway paths. Available from the service selection menu that appears after choosing a parking position during taxi. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Gate-to-Gate Towing. When already parked at a gate, Push-in can push you out using the existing pushback route, then tow you to the new gate. The tug automatically selects the best pushback direction based on the destination. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Back navigation across all GSX menus. Menus now show a Back option (as the last entry) when navigated to from another menu, allowing you to return without closing and reopening. - GSX Pro NEW: Seated Passengers support for PMDG 737-700 Passengers version in MSFS 2024. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Pushback speed is now adjustable via a slider in the Simulation settings tab. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler Script Editor: code folding with Notepad++-style +/- markers in the fold margin. Click the margin or press Ctrl+/ to collapse or expand a block. - GSX (all versions) NEW: Handler scripts: new transmitKeyEvent(eventName, value=0) function fires SimConnect client events through the native MSFS 2024 transmit path, the same way GSX does internally. - GSX (all versions) Change: The "Revoke parking services" entry in the Change menu (labelled "Revoke FollowMe and parking services" when FollowMe is active) now requires a Yes/No confirmation to prevent accidental activation. - GSX (all versions) Change: The bypass pin is now tracked jitter-free during pushback, computed directly from aircraft position instead of reading back from SimConnect. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Additional MARS data isolation fixes: pushback settings, stop positions and other mutable properties could still leak between sub-positions in certain editing scenarios. - GSX (all versions) Fix: MARS parking position changes made in the 3D editor were not being saved. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Error spam in the log when repositioning to a runway, caused by missing MARS attributes on runway objects. - GSX (all versions) Fix: SimBrief data fetch now uses a 15-second timeout and only falls back to userid-based lookup on explicit reload. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash when selecting an undefined door slot in the aircraft 3D editor. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash when warping to a parking at an airport that has been unloaded by the simulator. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Vehicle path spikes at transitions from long straights into turns, caused by incorrect heading on deferred bend points. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash in baggage loader when the gate is a de-ice area. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Marshaller "Please cut engines" message could appear when engines were already off. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Cargo loading progress LVar could prematurely report 100% when the rear loader finished before the front loader materialized, causing progress tracking to stop while the front loader was still active. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Services waiting for a door to reach the desired state now retry the toggle event at the same interval as the "Waiting for your action" warning (default 10s), instead of waiting forever if the aircraft ignored the first event. - GSX (all versions) Fix: PMDG 737-700 variant detection in MSFS 2024 — the 737-700 Passenger version was misrouted to the 737-800 profile, causing incorrect FANS2 CDU detection, wrong passenger count, and wrong seat data. - GSX (all versions) Fix: Random crashes that could occur during boarding or deboarding, caused by stale references to ground service vehicle animations. - GSX P3D Fix: Crash in pushback detach phase when SimConnect returns incomplete data for altitude-above-ground.' 15. For me, the E-Jets are a constant reminder that I intend never again to buy software based on promises of future functionality, but only based on its current state. They do that reliably. Even in today's released version 🤔
  16. As you're still unable to update AIRACs in the FSS E-Jets with a navdata subscription (You're FORCED to have a Navigraph unlimited sub), the naming of the release is pretty irrelevant to me 🙄
  17. **Version 0.10.36 (public experimental) available** ------------------------ 'Hi, The dev team and beta team have been busy over the past few weeks, and we’re excited to share the next experimental version of the E-Jets with you. New features include holdings and temperature compensation for RNAV approaches. You can find more details in our [documentation](https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/e-jet-series). The last major milestone left is the autopilot. It works in general, but it’s still not as accurate as we want and doesn’t meet our expectations yet. Right now, it’s still based on the default MSFS autopilot with a custom layer on top. In the future, this will be replaced with a fully custom autopilot. Stay tuned! Changelog: - Major MCDU & LNAV improvements - Improved takeoff & landing behaviour - Full missed approach implementation - FMS temperature compensation for RNAV approaches - MCDU Holdings with all entry types - MCDU flight complete phase allows multiple legs in one session - Tons of smaller fixes and improvements Release Status: Contrail: Released (experimental branch) Aerosoft One: Released (experimental branch) Source

  19. 'ChasePlane has been updated on 2026-04-07. 2026.15.2.16 This update is required to use ChasePlane with SU5 Betas. It's important to know that MSFS 2024 Betas are released without prior notice, so it's possible that this update will break in future beta releases. Read the blog post about this release: https://parallel42.com/blogs/news/chaseplane-su5b Make sure to review the updated Known Limitations on our wiki. https://parallel42.com/blogs/wiki/chaseplane-known-limitations Added support for MSFS 2024 Sim Update 5 Beta 1.7.17.0 Expanded the in-app system status experience with clearer component health indicators, better failure messaging, and more direct update and support guidance. Control mappings now better communicate device availability (for example, disconnected devices), and assignment labeling and refresh behavior is more consistent. Fixed several camera-related issues, including FlyBy zoom inversion behavior, drone control behavior, and other camera edge cases. Fixed multiple stability issues, improved aircraft reload behavior, and hardened communication between components. Update Instructions: Download the new installer from your //42 account to install this update. Your views and settings will not be lost. You can always download the latest version from your //42 account. --- Good day, everyone! For the past six months, our team has been heads-down every single day, refining ChasePlane, ironing out its rough edges, working around platform limitations, and making the experience better for the thousands of simmers who rely on it. Today, that work takes a major leap forward. We're releasing the first experimental build of ChasePlane for MSFS 2024 with Sim Update 5 Beta support. Asobo's Camera API ❤ī¸ Shortly after we shipped ChasePlane for MSFS 2024, Asobo announced a brand-new Camera API arriving with Sim Update 5. This is clearly the first step in a larger, multi-phase effort from the Asobo team, and we couldn't be more excited about what it means for the future. With the right tools finally in our hands, the path to delivering the full ChasePlane experience is clearer than ever. That said, a new API means a lot of rewiring under the hood. We've spent the last month doing exactly that: migrating ChasePlane's internals to take advantage of the new system wherever possible. Today's build partially adopts the new Camera API, specifically in areas where our legacy code could no longer function and where the API was ready to be integrated. What to Expect This transition brings one minor but noticeable change: the copilot avatar no longer fades out when the camera moves close to or inside the model, as it did before. For now, we recommend adjusting your copilot view slightly forward to avoid any clipping or removing the copilot in the settings. We've already reported this to Asobo's devsupport and are confident it will be addressed in a later SU5 Beta build or in early SU6 Betas. It's important to know that MSFS 2024 Betas are released without prior notice, so it's possible that ChasePlane will break in future beta releases. The Road to VR Here's the news many of you have been waiting for. While this build does not yet include VR support, the arrival of the new Camera API opens a clear and viable path toward it. We aren't making timeline promises, but we will begin VR work as soon as Sim Update 5 exits beta. Career Mode: Unlocked One more thing. Asobo has made a change we've been hoping for since day one: ChasePlane and other toolbar add-ons now work in Career Mode. This was a long-standing limitation, and it's finally behind us. How to update Simply download the latest ChasePlane Manager from your Parallel 42 Store account. Known Limitations Make sure to review the updated Known Limitations on our wiki. A thank you! We're incredibly grateful for the community's patience and support as we continue to push ChasePlane forward. As always, this experimental build is just the beginning. Stay tuned for what's next.' 21. TL;DR by me: Biggest BeyondATC update yet, major refinements, VFR stage 1 for supporters. 'BeyondATC Toolbar V2.0.0 Changelog on Discord: NEW: Added D-ATIS toolbar tab to view the ATIS of your arrival and departure airports NEW: Added CPDLC logon code under frequencies tab NEW: Added ability to queue messages in the toolbar when traffic is speaking NEW: Added version footer in the toolbar``` The toolbar is a way to have the core BeyondATC UI features directly within MSFS. Useful for VR or any user who wants direct access to BeyondATC from within MSFS. Download from the Toolbar link at https://www.beyondatc.net/download Major Version 1.8.6 EA Changelog on Discord: âš™ī¸ Core Refactors and Stability * New feature: Complete rewrite of the arrival sequencer. It is a new system that uses a "compression inversion" algorithm to model non-deterministic conversion points along flight tracks. In simple terms this will sequence aircraft from over 100+ miles out to ensure they arrive nicely spaced out. The player and traffic will now receive speed instructions if the system detects a collision based on airframe characteristics and stage of flight. This is still a work in progress, but represents a massive step up from the previous system. * New feature: Complete rebuild of the vectoring system (v3). This is the most advanced and complex vector system yet - taking wind, terrain, drift and reaction time into consideration to produce minimal commanded accurate vector instructions. Paths can rebuild themselves in real time to match changing situations. * Complete rework of the Comms platform with an emphasis on stability. * Complete rework of speech recognition; added semantic cognate token matching for much more accurate readback handling. * Added layered fallback handling for bad microphone transcriptions - automatically grant readbacks when it's detected the transcription was corrupted. * Complete rework for runway queue handling; improved queuing from planes coming from multiple directions onto the same runway. * Full rework of the taxi pathing algorithm, should be much faster, more stable and produce far better results. * Rework for taxi path phrasing, long repetitive readbacks should be much shorter now. * Full rework for traffic data functions with a focus on stability and performance. * Runway data completely rewritten to use mid points and non-sim data for length and extended thresholds, giving much more reliable runway positioning and allowing aircraft to take off from any entry point in an extended threshold. * Takeoff queue handling significantly reworked - you'll be handed to tower as soon as you're in the queue, and can end up deep in the queue on busy days without issues. đŸ—Ŗī¸ Local Voice Model * New feature: Local voice accents added! The model is still being trained but you have the same breadth of accents now that premium voices have all locally, with no cloud dependency or downtime and lightning fast generation time with minimal performance overhead. * The local voice model no longer relies on an external exe which should lead to more stability. * UK voice mapping updated to balance male/female ratio and better segment English, Irish, and Scottish accents in line with premium voices. * US voice mapping updated to balance male/female ratio and better. * Standardized speech speeds across US, UK, and accent models with additional pauses, particularly for ATIS. * VC++ redistributable added to the installer process for local voice support (silent install if needed). đŸ›Ģ Departure, Gate and Runway Handling * Improved SID altitude handling. [#11394807] * Tower/Ground will no longer constantly tell you to start and stop taxi when in a queue or heading in the same direction as the aircraft in front — only triggers when converging from different taxiway directions. * When crossing a completely inactive runway (no departures or arrivals either end), hold short instructions are removed and the crossing is included in the taxi instruction. * Fixed backtrack runway departures being triggered when landing aircraft are on short final, with longer clearance windows for backtrack departures. * Backtracking aircraft are now always cleared for takeoff once the backtrack is complete rather than being told to hold short. * Departure runway selection improved based on taxi route and busyness. * Gate designators (empty, C, L, R) now treated as a group — prevents parking on empty/C while also using L or R, but allows L and R together. đŸ›Ŧ Arrival and Sequencing * Reduced approach aircraft distances that block takeoffs for better flow with faster runway clearing. * Resume speed releases at/before IAF/IF. * Braking force after landing now scales based on proximity of following approaches so a longer runout when nothing is behind. âš™ī¸ General Improvements * Reworked how ground speed of traffic is calculated, using wind values at the player aircraft rather than unreliable sim data, with improved TAS calculation at higher altitudes. * Allow scenery that only exposes one start on a runway to work (Flightbeam KDEN 25 for example). * On departure a runway change request will be granted to any active departure runway even if our logic says it is too short for the player aircraft. * Ensure a runway is always available that suits the player's aircraft size. * Map voices to tail number prefixes by country for GA / Bizjets (or any aircraft without an airline based callsign). * Line up and wait clearance given to player when traffic on short final fixed. * Prevent hold short nodes that are near the runway centre line (i.e. incorrectly on the runway) being considered hold short (fixes data issue in EGCC Inibuilds). * Correct handling for CF waypoints at LEBL, EDDL and other airports with long approaches. * Latest AIRAC and airline data. 📡 ATIS Improvements * Improved ATIS handling for METAR codes such as FG, DZ, GR, SQ, SS, DS, PL, PE, IC, SG, FC, NSC, VV and more to allow for more dynamic ATIS generation. * Removed 5G notice in effect from ATIS. * Fixed issue where there was no space between WIND CALM and cloud information. [#06711097] * Wind is now rounded to 10 degree increments. * Wind variable now reports wind direction and variable direction. * Added various differences between FAA and ICAO ATIS reporting (example, saying "knots" and "degrees" in ICAO, but omitting in FAA). * In ICAO land - ATIS is reported in meters below 5km, and kilometers between 5 and 10km. * Added 'sm' to visibility in FAA land. * Added support for MPS (Meters Per Second) parsing for wind information in China and Russia. * FAA reports ATIS visibility in statutory miles, ICAO reports it in kilometers. 📡 CPDLC Improvements * Many overall tweaks. * Fixed chance for CPDLC messages with MRN's assigned to be silently consumed when they are actually meant to be requests. * Fixed CPDLC soft errors showing on the UI as being from the player not ATC. * Improved user facing error messages. * Added support for pushback request via TELEX. * Added support for taxi request via TELEX. * Fixed issue where CPDLC departure runway would not match ATIS if recently updated and would not cause runway to be put into a locked state. * Added LFEE, LJLA, SBRE, TTZP, UGGG, UBBA, UTAK, UTAA, UTAV, OAKX, OPLR, OPKR station logon codes. * Fixed issue with auto tune not working when responding to 'wilco' to a contact new station message. * Hide "handover" message from UI as this is a system message. * Fixed CPDLC log messages not being outputted to production version. * Added GOOO station code to missing frequencies. [#94909585] * Always add the initial climb to the SID. [#13020537] * Changed center name of Brindisi Military to Brindisi. [#19210877] * When getting a CPDLC handoff, fixed a chance where auto tune would tune to the incorrect frequency. [#14286630] * Fixed issue where after being handed off with an END SERVICE - you would be kept logged on within the server, leading to BATC acting like you were still logged in. [#36823081] * Add explicit rejection of step climbs. [#10478508] * Fixed issue where leading zeros in callsigns can lead to issues with CPDLC message delivery. [#33934962] * Fixed issue where initial climb of 1000 feet was reported in CPDLC PDC. [#63298660] * Issue where DPFREQ would show up when no departure frequency is specified. [#25701504] ```🐞 Bug Fixes * Large number of fixes for stuck traffic in taxi, on runways, and during pushback. * Finally fully fix the vectors after altitude change bug. * Fixed clearance being given when an aircraft is on very short final. * Fix AI ATC repeating calls [#22278488]. * Fix historic METAR not loading over weekends [#44165420]. * Fix traffic receiving the same instruction repeatedly [#82442706]. * Fix departure runway changes not being possible at airports without a clearance frequency. * Fix "Request departure" display hanging or not responding. * Fix aircraft sometimes being deleted because they can't find a runway exit even though one exists. * Fix DECTalk ATIS saying "period" after runways when arrival/departure runway set are the same. * Fix LLM query for next waypoint sometimes returning the previous waypoint. * Fix fatal crash in enroute traffic data generation. * Fix tug spline fatal crash. * Fixed altitude readbacks being rejected even when spoken correctly (FL100, FL200, FL300, FL400). * Fixed taxi readbacks being rejected when route has separate number and letter taxiways (e.g., "2, C"). * Fixed frequency readback failing when speech recognition fuses digits with callsign. * Fatal exception fixes [#44914924], [#40514399], [#83565855] + others. * Fix traffic getting wrong approach initially that can lead to incorrect instructions or early landing state [#06429848]. * Prevent aircraft being given lineup and wait when aircraft on short final if there is another departing aircraft on the takeoff roll. * Fix traffic aircraft potentially overlapping each other in a traffic queue at some airports. * Add a fallback method for determining runway turnoffs to help prevent aircraft de-spawning after landing at some airports. * Fix the issue with the center controller having a potentially wrong accent - Dutch on London Control for example. * Pick STARs and STAR transitions for traffic more consistently to prevent vectors being given incorrectly. * Fix TOD calc if there is no STAR and some route waypoints received low cruise alts from Simbrief. * Fix the feature that allowed you to use the current transponder value set in your aircraft when restarting a flight mid-flight (helps with Vatsim use). đŸ›Ŧ Airport Ops Updates * Improvements for: EBCI, EDDK, EFHK, ESMT, GMME, GVAC, KATL, KBZN, KDBL, KDFW, KLRD, KMDW, KOAK, KOSH, KPBI, KSAT, KSDF, LFKJ, LHBP, LICJ, LIMC, LKPR, LOWI, MPTO, OERK, OMDB, PHLI, RCTP, RJTT, RPLL, VTSG, ZGSZ``` Representing many ongoing months of stability fixes and improvements, we finally have the system in a fantastic space to work on our next features. Work does not stop though and we expect regular fixes into the EA build in the coming days and weeks.' Major Version 1.9.0 Experimental Changelog on Discord: đŸ›Šī¸ VFR Stage One — Core Systems * New feature: Three dedicated phraseology regions for VFR — UK, US (Canada also uses the US system) and AUS — with custom scripts and procedure handling per region. Action button text adapts to the region you are flying in. Where you are not flying in one of these regions, the default is UK phraseology to best align with ICAO. * New feature: Airport Circuit System with support for Touch and Go, Low Approach, Full Stop Landing, and Stop and Go (US and AUS). * New feature: Dynamic circuit direction system that avoids circuit patterns over runways and near terrain. If no conflict is detected the direction defaults to the left, and you may request a circuit direction change on the ground or while flying in the circuit. - Note: You may also request a different runway before or during your circuit. * New feature: BATC remembers your last circuit intention and presents it as a quick option when reporting downwind/midfield, with the option to change it before or after reporting. * New feature: VFR Taxi Back — after a full stop landing, choose between taxiing back to the runway or to parking. Parking can be auto-assigned to a GA-appropriate gate, or you can select a specific spot, so you can practice full stop landings and continue the flight. * New feature: Intersection departures — request an intersection departure before requesting taxi. BeyondATC lists the available intersections if you do not suggest one in the initial call. VFR only in this release; IFR and traffic support planned. * New feature: Submenus for action button requests. Buttons that require follow-up information (for example pattern intention) now expand into sub-options instead of ATC asking you. Voice users keep the original flow provided the original call contains all the needed information. VFR only for now, IFR expansion planned. * When starting a VFR flight in the air you will be set into an uncontrolled state and can then tune to your arrival or departure airport to request entry for circuits/pattern or landing. * Stage one does not expand support for non-towered airfields. The airport you fly to must have a tower controller to allow for VFR circuit management with ATC. Improvements are planned for stage two. đŸ›Ģ VFR Departure, Arrival and Join Handling * New feature: Enter and exit controlled airspace at your departure or arrival airport at any time, including multiple times in a flight. * New feature: Leave controlled airspace via a frequency change (US/AUS) or "VFR departure" (UK). In the US you are automatically moved into an uncontrolled state at 6nm from the airport to simulate airspace where calling ATC for a frequency change is not required. * New feature: Request to re-join controlled airspace with the option for landing or pattern/circuit work. Supported join types: Downwind, Straight-In, and Overhead (UK). * New feature: VFR traffic deconfliction (work in progress). When in the circuit and reporting downwind/midfield, ATC will extend your downwind or ask you to orbit if required. If you cannot be slotted in after extending, you will be asked to navigate back to downwind. ATC also provides traffic information in certain calls based on traffic conditions. This system currently targets traffic within the circuit/pattern only, improvements planned between stage one and two. * ATC will provide traffic in sight calls to VFR aircraft in the circuits * Stage one does not fully simulate control zone entry/exit, realistic zone transits, VRPs or full traffic avoidance — improvements are planned through stage one and into stage two. ```🔤 Callsigns, Squawks and Phraseology * New feature: Callsign shortening for general aviation. Depending on region, ATC and auto-responses shorten your callsign where appropriate — "G-ABCD" becomes "G-CD" in the UK, "N42PC" becomes "Piper 2PC" in the US. The full and shortened forms both display at the bottom right of the flight interface (e.g. "G-ABCD (G-CD)") and you can transmit either to ATC. * New feature: VFR squawk code generation (UK only, work in progress). Common UK VFR squawk code blocks are assigned on arrival or clearance. After exiting controlled airspace, aircraft are told to squawk conspicuity and enter an uncontrolled state. US/AUS use default squawks. * New feature: QFE information at UK aerodromes — calculated on demand and available via voice or keyboard request to ATC. * New feature: Airframe Name Library — over 880 airframes mapped to ICAO codes so traffic deconfliction calls and scripts can refer to airframes by name instead of ICAO. * Added the word "runway" before hold short instructions — "hold short of 22" is now "hold short of runway 22". * Removed "ready to go" from the departure request script so IFR aircraft consistently use "ready for departure". * ATC and traffic now explicitly use "wilco" for compliance with instructions, and "roger" / "affirm" etc. for acknowledging information. * In ICAO regions, taxi and hold short instructions now better align to ICAO phraseology, including ensuring 'runway' and 'hold short' instructions are explicitly stated. âš™ī¸ General Improvements * Improved wake turbulence — landing aircraft now set wake on the runway, enabling wake separation for subsequent departures. * LLM split into two contexts, one for IFR and one for VFR, giving more context-aware prompts depending on your flight type. * D-ATIS now refreshes each time you open the frequencies menu. 🐞 Bug Fixes * Fixed an issue where a blank push-to-talk could lock up the action system. * Fixed an issue where, after a crossing instruction, ATC could say the name of the cross instruction twice. * Fixed typo in CPDLC "PRE DEPARTURE" PDC request. * Fixed the speech engine saying "ATC" incorrectly. * Added a guard against autotune triggering for the same frequency. * Fixed an issue where the "Waiting to Cross" button could appear for your own departure runway at airports with parallel runways. * Improved proximity detection for the automatic crossing prompt from ATC. * Fixed an issue with the readback scoring system where the lowest value script could win. * Fixed a fatal where an aircraft transferred to tower with no assigned runway.``` This release lays the foundation for VFR operations in BeyondATC. As with any experimental build we expect issues to surface, and we will be posting known issues and follow-up fixes over the coming days and weeks. Thank you for helping us test stage one — we hope you enjoy it.'
  22. Changelog source on Discord: GSX (all versions) NEW: Completely rewritten Walker system, which can now follow Vehicles at programmed distances instead of performing a separate path. This will solve the issue of Pushback walkers possibly clashing with airplane or tug parts. GSX (all versions) Fix: Better check for the Pushback end position vs departure gate, to ensure the operator will always perform the final bypass pin/salute on the inner side of the airplane. GSX (all versions) Fix: Many fixes in all editors (2D, 3D and Parking dialog) related to MARS properties. GSX Pro Change: Night lighting added to Aviramp. GSX Pro Fix: PMDG FANS 2B CDU not detected if the airframe had no option saved from the CDU.
  23. Awesome – me too. And to keep it that way, I'll continue to avoid watching YouTube streamers. Especially not those who need exclamation marks.
