I avoid the Marketplace (MP) at all costs, but I did purchase the L-1011 on release day. I did so knowing that all I had to do later was take a screenshot that I OWN it in the MP library and put in a transfer ticket when it became available on the iniManager. The entire process was done in less than 10 minutes. I hate the MP for the fact I had purchase issues in the past and trying to get ahold of someone from Microsoft to fix it was a pain in the butt. I also dislike the product update process. With the L-1011, iniBuild would push out an update and I had to wait the following week to update. Against my standing rule, I will be purchasing the A220 when it releases. From what they are saying, it will be the same transfer process as the A340 and L-1011. The nice thing about the transfer process, iniBuilds provides you with an actual receipt for your purchase. The price will say $0.00 as it is a free transfer. They also said the wait time for it to arrive in the iniManager will not be that long as past products. Unfortunately, this is the future when it comes to iniBuilds aircraft. I’m sure the A380 will be the same.

My guess is the A220 will drop on Tuesday next week. The last two iniBuild releases, A340 & L-1011, both released on Tuseday.

I'm still on AutoFPS 0.5.0.0. I take it AutoFPS 0.5.1.0 is the latest official version without using a test version? Is there any difference I will see moving from 0.5.0.0 to 0.5.1.0? Thanks

Just finished watching Kencos streaming of KORD. The exterior, interior and performance is amazing. I wish they would have made Atlanta. I can only imagine what you could have done with it.

I think I’ll hold off for a while before I update my 737. Still too many WASM crashes and freeze reports coming in from other users, even after clean install or following the instructions. I don’t feel confident in this latest update.

I like how they did not use the famous PMDG phrase of Soon and used the term, Not Long 😂 when answering the users question on a possible release date.

I'm glad I held off on updating. These days it pays to wait a few days before updating. I wish we had the same option in MSFS.

I didn't take your reply as anti-anything but you simply stating your opinion. I simply pointed out my observation, you call it complaining, on liveries and wish we had a voice pack option in the future update. GSX and other addons provide these options to help with realism & immersion. I don't know the shortcoming of overseas registered GA planes as I don't fly them. I've spent some of my best years at RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath, RAF Upper Heyford back in the days so I know how passionate people from the UK are about aviation which is something lacking in the US.

Seeing that iniBuilds is Headquartered in London, there dev team leans more for what they want to see in the simulator. You can see this in the L-1011 and the upcoming RAF Tristar expansion. We had almost a dozen BA liveries on initial release but only one or two US liveries and the US flew more L-1011s than any other country. It’s a US built aircraft with a british speaking flight engineer with no option to change the voice except to turn it off. I’m just happy that the Airport side of the business is a lot more diverse when making airports around the world.

I would not have guessed that the first iniBuilds L-1011 expansion would be the RAF Tristar. I guess the UK, demand was high for it as they said they would make other models if there was demand for it. Too bad there not releasing a expansion pack of the longer variants: -1, -100, -200, -250 which were more widely used compared to the stubby -500. ]

Is there a way to see fireworks in MSFS2024? It's the 4th of July and it would be nice to see some fireworks in the sim.

Hotfix #2 for the iFly MAX is now ready for release! To install the hotfix, open the iFly Manager and it will prompt you for the installation. The principal issue we wanted to fix is the memory leak caused by use of the WXR. Actually, we found that the memory leak existed anytime "fsMapViewCreate" is active in MSFS. That's been reported to Asobo, and we found a way to mitigate the issue, which should be fully fixed by Asobo with MSFS 2024 SU6. We were able to mitigate the issue for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. Also fixed/added: Systems:, -- Route drawing issues -- Waypoint sequence issues when entering SID/STAR Model:, -- Flaps extending into the boats for the external and internal views -- Missing pilot and copilot avatars in MSFS 2020 -- Double windscreen wipers EFB:, -- Home screen icons now stay in the location to which they are dragged when MSFS is restarted. -- Ability to rotate the REMOTE CDU added. Note that when the EFB setting is "0", the CDU will rotate as the iPad/tablet is moved. Also, the EFB default is a landscape screen. Only the CDU may be rotated. Note: On the first load after work folder cache was created, the EFB screen can take a few seconds to get ready. The EFB does some extraction process of its own files for a few seconds. But it only happens on the 1st load of a seat variant, when the work folder is created.
