Technobrain RJTT - Available Soon

Featured Replies

At long last, it seems Technobrain's RJTT is slated for release. Their website has been updated this week to say 'coming soon', with mention of both Marketplace and Simmarket. Previously it only said a generic 'Planned for Summer 2026'. This airport has been in development for at least 3 years, and is long awaited by Japanese simmers, as well as those of us familiar with the region. The encouraging mention in the features list is both the custom CGL and being designed with frame rates in mind. Optimization is very good with their previous RJBB, but obviously there is a less heavy photogrammetry load near that airport compared to RJTT.

In the screenshots they seem to have included all or most of the newer buildings near T3 and the NW complex, and also the international extension to T2. The only thing I see missing is the T1 extension, which is nearly complete IRL. If the building models are from 2024-25 then obviously that wouldn't be there.

In any case it is about time, we have gone years without a proper version of Japan's most important airport!

That’s very silly. This dev makes good products.

Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about. You are implying it's not a good product? As I said, it has some things for the developer to improve on, but it's already much better than the Asobo RJTT

@Nandengo12 thanks mate for the info! Looks good, I'll get it on release I believe. I was rather fan of the TechnoBrain style in the FSX/P3D days but it was very expensive, 45€+ on average. I can see

The second I see those stock/generic default planes in marketing material, I immediately lose confidence. 🤷‍♂️

You mean they are not testing with an AI pack? How do you know the default assets are not more resource heavy?

I think in this case it is probably because of developer cultural difference, more than anything. In Japan it is unusual to endorse other products while promoting your own.

I can see that the price is more reasonable now, 25€+

I'm also waiting for New Chitose.

Still doesn’t change my opinion. I said what I said and stand by it.

I have RJBB so I will pick this up as long as it is less than $30. Technobrain prices were insane for MSFS.

Hard to say, but given their history and the fact JPY/USD exchange is very poor at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if it's an expensive product

Good looking pics, lets see how it shows up after some previews - like that Airport..

cheers 😉

I think there's a good chance of that. RJBB has been updated a couple of times since release
