  1. Smart and agree, that is my thinking too. I noticed that the Comanche is much less sensitive to turbulance than the Bonanza.
  2. Thank you all for your kind Help. I'll have to make a decision for Real Turb and have a closer look also at FS Realistic.
  3. Haha, I can't believe it is LFPG... Summer destination and popular French airport is LFMN
  4. The author of the addon has just confirmed to me what you said.
  5. Thank for your input. Even in airliners, not especially in thunderstorms, it is not rare that the aircraft is strongly kicked sideway. For GA, you put medium, which tends to confirme the general trend: the defaut "Realistic" setting is too high.
  6. The MOD is working flawlessly with SID and STAR and I can see the icon of my aircraft. However for taxiing I can't see the icon of my aircraft. I have: 1) Activated the icon 2) Browsed through all APT charts for departure airport 3) Zoomed to the max level on each map I'm doing something wrong but what?
  7. I've been flying liners recently so I've not paid much attention but now that I'm in GA period, I notice that turbulence is way too high in the default sim. Which is confirmed in a few threads I have read. So I dialed back the level of turbulence to LOW (instead of Realistic). I have Active Sky but I've not changed anything for now. And finally I am considering Real Turb which I've heard of a couple of years ago. But when I go to simMarket, there are many Real Turb. Apparently the "original" one but also clones... and even sceneries? Can you please advise?
  8. I've seen some old threads where the navigation data only was proposed as an option. Thanks anyway mate.
  9. Maybe it's only me but when I go to https://navigraph.com/pricing all the options I have are: 1) Monthly subscription €10.86 2) Yearly subscription €97.97 Services: Charts, Navigation Data, Flight Planning I don't see an option for Navigation Data only?
  10. Thanks, I was not aware that there is a cheaper subsciption (without the charts apparently). I'll investigate.
  11. I'm becoming more and more familiar with LIDO charts. I appreciate the coloured layout and the grouping of several SID/STAR on one single plate. At the moment I'm flying mostly the B738 in Europe and Asia so the LIDO charts are perfect. I have a Navigraph monthly subscription and I plan to cancel it and get it only once in a while. Thanks to all mates who kindly helped me with this topic, to MS for making LIDO charts available by default, and the author of the EFB MOD for PMDG planes: https://flightsim.to/addon/109930/lido-charts-for-pmdg-efbs 😀
  12. Thank you very much mate 😀
  13. Thank you very much @weaklink for taking time to explain the wording, very useful and much appreciated. Understood for waypoints that are in the FMC and not the charts. So my understanding is that the FF26L in the FMC corresponds to the "P" at 2000 D5.5. I've never been clear on this: there is the Initial Approach Fix and the Final Approach Fix. In this case the FF26L (or P) is the Initial Approach Fix ? And the Final Approach Fix is at 570 ft, 1 mile away from the runway?
  14. I read the product presentation: lots of marketing (blabla) stuff but I was unable to understand what the products does concretely...
  15. @Fiorentoni I understand, thank you. I become more and more familiar with LIDO 🙂
  16. Okay so I am learning the LIDO logic and how to read them. As a consequence I have to spend a bit of time to scroll/open the plates to find the suitable one. Another dificulty I have is that the waypoints shown by the FMC do not correspond to the ones on the LIDO plates. Concrete example : approach to EGKK/26L. The FMC displays CF26L and FF26L, which are on the Jeppesen approach plate but NOT in the LIDO ones. LIDO chart displays: D5.5 IWW, D4, D1. Any comment or advice is welcome. I can see that you live by EDDF, which happens to be my base airport (Aerosoft) at the moment (very nice airport and surrounding) 😃until LFPG comes out.
  17. One year ago your favorite was the 777-300ER. Am I correct? 😉
  18. Aerosoft might have lost their reputation for making aircrafts, but they do still make great sceneries (mega airports series). I own EDDF and it is great. Really sad news that they resigned to do LFPG.
  19. Installation is super easy (exe) indeed and the mod works fine on my FS2024 Steam. Changing Jeppesen to LIDO charts is a toggle in the modded EFB. Bonus: there is GSX integration, so if you are fan of discreet menus to command GSX through the EFB (instead of the "big" native GSX menu through the toolbar) GO GET!
  20. Installation seems super easy, I'm gonna try that gem 😀
  21. @Fiorentoni Thank you. I had a quick look in flight in the ini A350, but as I said, I have to look/study more thoroughly offine.
  22. Me too, that's the main traction to me towards LIDO. My difficulty for the moment is to retrieve the key infos: Missed Approach Altitude, DH, Fix altitude... Also the SID/STAR seems incomplete vs Jeppesen. Probably due to my ignorance, I have to study that further...
  23. Hola, hello Jose, I've not installed addon linker because my addon collection is stabilizing around 50 items. However I finally ended up installing GSX for the pushback 😉
  24. Thank you everyone for your votes! Obviously the vast majority think FS2024 will start to die in 2028 when the next sim is released. A good proportion of you give it a 2 years's delay until 2034. And 5% (including me) think (or hope) it will stay until 2034 and beyond.
