April 27Apr 27 Hi guys I'm struggling a bit here I cant figure out how to config my Warthog so I get a nice 3 stage burner. I get 0-100% dry but no matter what I do I cant get the last bit of travel on the throttles to engage reheat.
April 30Apr 30 My preference is on the right throttle, I use the Red China Hat -foward- to toggle my afterburners on. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
April 30Apr 30 Author Just had a quick play I would rather have a smooth progression from zero to max reheat using both throttles past the detent does anyone know if that's possible rather than just turning it on or off ? Reading about Typhoon it appears it does not have 'stages' but a smooth and progressive increase from no reheat to 100% Just an on and off seems unrealistic 😞

Not sure why they coded it that way as it’s not a sim limitation (in 2024). I have a few addons with non-button afterburner (TMS F-23, BBS T-38, BBS sr-71, et al) If I had to guess, it might have something to do with also having a v2020 version of the addon, or the addon was originally a v2020… 🤷♂️

Yep. It’s one of the things that (IMHO) keeps IFT in a lower tier, along with their flight models. Even tho IRL afterburner use is extremely limited, engagement needs to be realistic(ish). 👍 Hopefully, the Just Flight version will do it right 😎
