Neutrino Flux replied to Cyrex1984's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Quitting for now
Neutrino Flux replied to webranger's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
I had 30 mins or so last night and have to say it was OK ! Granted it was only 30 mins..... Thrustmaster Warthog basic control functions and pedals all worked as they should. I tried the C152 from my local flying club and it did look a lot nicer than 2020 It did take longer to load the flight than 2020 and also the 152's lights didn't seem to be working but after my initial 97% debacle I came away feeling more positive. It helps I suppose that I didn't preorder and fully intended to keep flying 2020 until 2024 matured a bit. Having participated in the 2020 Alpha this release doesn't surprise me at all it must have been a full year before I fully adopted 2020 from P3D. So in a nutshell I certainly feel sorry for the people who have stumped up a not inconsiderable amount of cash but that's the risk you always take. I have no doubt that in a years time ( if we are all still here ) things will be much much better. Maybe they will give us an option to do a full install in the future ? Quietly optimistic. -
Problem list with FS2024 so far
Neutrino Flux replied to VeryBumpy's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)
I'm just glad I didn't preorder it ! That cash is still happily sitting in my account waiting for the day it's fit to purchase but people will still preorder for some strange reason. -

fsx-ms Anyone try My Traffic 6 yet?
Neutrino Flux replied to Perry333's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Well.... Daves stuff does look superb. It does look better than MT6. But As a MT6 user I still love it. I'm no longer bothered about ultra realistic airline scheds. All I want is a quick easy install and airports that look like they are alive with reasonable models. Well I think they are :-) That's what MT6 gives me..... I've been a MT user for years and never had reason to complain. -
I'm really missing the Legacy in P3D. I've started flying the Turbine Duke more and I'm enjoying it but ..... I miss the ability to cruise at close to 300 knots at 8000ft.... Speed and the ability to sight see.... Is their anything else that comes close out their to keep me going ? Cheers ! p.s. I know I can run it in P3D but I would rather wait for the proper version.

:-D Thanks all. Lets wrap it up then ... Obviously P3D is MUCH better than FSX and FSX is on its last legs. . . . . . . ;-) I'm off for a beer .... Anyone care to join me ?
