  • I prefer Justflight’s Bae Hawk T1/A. It’s a two-seat trainer jet, has quite some system modeled and flies wonderfully.

I'm really enjoying the Aero Dynamics T-38 Talon. Comes with both A (steam gauge) and C (glass) versions.

Just to provide a little something different - I really love the OV-10 Bronco by Azur Poly. The cockpit is absolutely stunning.

Jaguar !!

Flies and feels so smooth, in addition to fantastic modelling.

Vulcan is also impressive, but is a very complex sim.

You get the most aircraft for your money with the Vulcan, although it’s often on sale if you wanted to get even better value.

The tornado I find a boring aircraft personally for some reason and you have to mess about with sweeping wings.

The Typhoon would have to be the new IFE version.

Jaguar ,I’ve been meaning to try this one, I hear good things about it.

In the meantime go and grab a free 24 hour trial of the blackbird T38A while you make your mind up, you may end up just keeping the T38 it’s very nice.

I enjoy the Tornado, the Vulcan is also well done and a good deal as mentioned.

Jaguar is on my future purchase list.

Have the F14 in DCS and already have the Hawk good suggestions.

Ok so between the Jag and Tornado …

Love the Jag but I really fancy flying simulated low level missions using that new freeware Terrain Following Radar app….

I’ll watch a few more vids …

This is my favorite flying machine in DCS.

I never fly it in MSFS anymore. The flight dynamics are decidedly sub par vs the DCS version. E.g., they don’t even model DLC, which is critical for maintaining correct AoA on landings, etc.

Between those I’d go for the Jag, based on dev reputation.

IFE is very good for switchology and graphics. Not so good when it comes to flight physics.

in re Tornado, I’m (still) holding out for Just Flight’s version.

Since you seem partial to UK jets, wait for the next big sale and grab the JF Hawk. This past Christmas it was down to US$30.

Regardless of its status as an (armed) trainer and light attack jet, it has been one of my perennial favorites across 3 different sims.

and the latest v2 version in MSFS is - by far - the best yet. JF did a great job on the flight model 👍

If you ever want to try a foreign jet, the TMS YF-23 is presently my favorite overall. It’s their best work yet - much more enjoyable than their F-22.
