Agree with this, Miltech and Taog are my helicopter go to’s. Most CowanSim choppers are in the hangar, other than the S76 mostly because my local ambulance flies them.

Fenix for me. Airbuses are my favourite airliners to sim, the the Fenix is the best imho.

This is what I do, my colours are orange for freeware, black for payware and dark purple for Asobo enhanced airports. I also use the various icons - airliner for airports with scheduled service, GA for airports without scheduled service, anchor for water only airport, explosion for military, and helicopter for heliport only.

Hopefully Miltech will also include a passenger version of the -300. Honestly it would seem odd to go to the effort of creating a -300 and not take the next step to Iinclude the pax version.

Me neither, it’s a short haul airliner operated by mainline, not a regional jet in my mind.

CRJ would be the best modern option, Avro RJ medium, Bae-146 and F28 old school. All are good but the latter three (all from just flight) are my favourites.

Devs on long lead time products need to be like Wayne Gretzky and skate to where the puck is going to be rather than where it is.

Much appreciate the feedback. I have my eye on this one, and it sounds like it’s getting there, but I’ll probably wait at least until the new sound pack comes out. Too many other great aircraft eating up my time right now.

I’m finding that a lot of my aircraft have no or very muted sounds on flyby. This includes the Fenix A320, PMDG 737 and many others. Are other people seeing the same? I’m wondering if there’s an issue on my end or if camera tools like this are exposing aircraft sound packs that weren’t intended for use with a flyby camera?

Went for my first flight last night, things all seemed good, my biggest issues with the 2000 version look to have been fixed. Once in cruise after departing Southampton I was away from my computer for a few minutes and came back to find it crashed in a field in southern England, engines still running. I’m not sure what happened, but it was something bad!

I hope setting the airport elevation to “flat” is not the final fix for elevation issues. Flat airports would take me back to P3D.

Interesting. It was certainly noticeable in the RealAir version, which I would guess given RealAir’s quality was prototypical.

Does the turbocharged version have a different sound pack with the turbo whistle like the RealAir version did?

Thanks, I don’t usually have a controller plugged in but maybe I’ll need to dust off my Xbox controller. Still it would be a nice feature to be able to set some of those distances etc as a new default. The other thing I forgot to mention ton last night is in the flyby view, if I bank the aircraft, the view would hold the aircraft steady and rotate/bank the world. Is there a way to do the opposite to make it more like real life?
