DLSS 5: Do not read if you're not an experimenter.

Featured Replies

There was a video posted that shows some massive FPS improvements while using DLSS 5. This looks promising...haven't tried it out yet, but looking forward to getting it running!

Very interesting ... but I'd like to have clear instructions on how to remove all the tweaks cleanly in case it doesn't work.

What i've done to remove everything is go into the content folder, and remove all of the stand-alone files, not the folders, then verify/repair the sim. You could probably go through and delete the dxgi.dll, etc. but i just find that a bit easier. You'd have to reinstall reshade if you use that and save your reshade.ini, and run DLSS swapper again, but other than that, it's an easy way to clear everything.

Thanks for the info :) ... is it working OK for you? Many people are reporting frequent CTDs and/or having to go through the whole tweak process all over again.

Lots of hoops to jump thru.

Really curious about this. The mod development seems to be coming on leaps and bounds.

Not sure whether to sit down and apply it today or wait another few days and see what else comes out.

I agree. I think half of the stuff he said prior to the optiscaler stuff was unnecessary...I just went straight to the optiscaler and got it working. milage may vary.

I got CTD on first flight but you can remove it also again with a click of a button so easy to try.

It support MSFS2024 and last update was 4 hrs ago so maybe it will get better
