  1. Interesting. 13600K/4090 here and at 4k with pretty much everything on ultra with TLOD 150 and FSLTL. I still get 50-70 at Drzewiecki Design KBFI and 80-90 at smaller airports like Verticalsim KBOI. A bit worse on performance than Fenix but nothing as bad as you're experiencing.
  2. They all point to that file so it's the only edit needed.
  3. They are aware of the issue and are working on it. Seems like sometimes it works as it should and sometimes it doesn't.
  4. Not sure, I'll bring it up on Discord now that I know I'm not the only one with the issue. I'll let you know what I hear back.
  5. 1. Sadly a full reinstall is required. No quick in-game solution to switch avionics. 2. I had the same issue on my flight last night during approach step downs. If I spun the VS knob + or - 100 it would initiate, but not when I pressed the ENG button with a VS rate already selected. Oddly I've watched videos from others on YT and they don't seem to have this issue. Here is a clip of V1-Simulation using the KAS927 as stated but it works fine on his end:
  6. I fully understand WHY this is happening. I get that the aircraft is making a transition from ground to air physics. I guess my main question is why this isn't an issue on literally any other plane in the sim? Yes, it is manageable if you are aware of it and really pay attention to your rotation speed, but even in Overkill's video it starts violently veering off the runway at about 70-75 knots. I love the plane otherwise and I've had a few great flights so far. Once they can dial in that ground to air transition this will be one of my favorites.
  7. I think the blinking yellow YD is just letting you know it has turned off which should occur on final. It's automatic in this plane if I'm not mistaken.
  8. I finally just purchased this along with using the Map Enhancement tool with the updated Bing Map imagery. I mostly fly around KBOI and the Pacific Northwest and so many areas I normally fly to look infinitely better.
  9. On kind of a related side not, I understand a lot of people not wanting static airliners at airports but I really wish more people added more static aircraft on GA ramps at add-on airports. It really makes the airports look more alive.
  10. Oh, good to know. I know I've flown the CJ4 a handful of times since AAU1, I must've just not given it a go in a crosswind scenario. This is the push I need to spend some more time back in this bird.
  11. Sounds like they have made improvements to the crosswind ground handling as well. I might have to give this one a go. My biggest complaint about the CJ4 was a complete inability to keep it on the runway in a heavy crosswind landing.
  12. I know there were issues with the PMS GTN with the initial release when the "WTT mode" was not native. Since then the PMS has been updated and the TBM v1.1 included WTT mode compatibility. Maybe make sure you're running the current version of both? I've logged about 12 hours in the TBM and nearly every flight has ended in an ILS approach and I haven't had a single issue.
  13. I think it's just the electric trim on the yoke.
  14. The mod is now obsolete. From the changelog on the update: "- The white outlines on the annunciator panel have been reduced in their prominence, and the color of the amber annunciators has been adjusted for a more pleasing effect."
  15. Assuming you have HDR enabled? MSFS HDR implementation is.... not great. If you have Windows 11 I would suggest using the Windows HDR calibration tool.
  16. I currently have about 7-8 hours in it and haven't experienced this.
  17. You can always just start with the free PMS GTN and then if you're needing the additional features that the paid version offers you can just upgrade.
  18. He made HOLD_CTRL to true by default now so if you enable the toggle it should look like this: [TOGGLE] ENABLED = true ; See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/inputdev/virtual-key-codes for all the key codes ; Default: INSERT KEY_CODE = 0x2D HOLD_ALT = false HOLD_CTRL = true HOLD_SHIFT = false So "ENABLED" needs to be set to true and then you'll need to press CTRL+INSERT in-game to toggle it on/off.
  19. So far I've just gotten in the habit of having the inertial separator on for all takeoffs, then when I go into 850 mode it won't rocket too high. At that point I can turn off the inertial separator and slowly manage the torque as it closes.
  20. Agreed. I use the Comanche to buzz around a lot of local strips. With the TBM I've been downloading a bunch of freeware/payware airports all over the PNW and hoping all over the place for the last week. Having the speed to get places quickly along with the ability to get in and out of short trips has me flying nothing but the TBM currently. I haven't had this much fun in a new aircraft release in a long time.
  21. It was discussed earlier in this thread that you can remap the binding.
  22. The Tobii Discord is probably the best bet for all these questions. They have a pretty active "tech talk" channel on there.
  23. Some have said they feel it's light on the controls and a bit twitchy but I hand flew my first little 100nm flight last night and I thought it handled really well.
  24. Yup, there is an option in the settings on what behavior you want when pausing. Then when you un-pause it makes a very smooth transition back to center.
