  1. Does anyone know whether CP 2020 view presets can be ported over to CP 2024?
  2. With family commitments I get so few evenings to do a full flight these days it's so disappointing to run into this, and much as I really want to move over, 2024 is just SO full of bugs I simply can't.
  3. Oh I see, I have that on F12, however this toggle doesn't work during the 'ready to fly' screen, only once actually in the sim. I was rather hoping that there might be a way of having eye tracking off by default upon starting, rather than the current situation where during the 'ready to fly' screen it's always on and I get this strange uncontrollable experience where my head bounces all over the cockpit until I actually enter the sim and turn if off.
  4. Thanks, however F9 does nothing, either in-sim or during the 'ready to fly' screen. Is this a default binding?
  5. Hello Would anyone know if there is a way to start a flight in MSFS with Tobii eye tracking turned off by default? Currently on arrival at the 'Ready to Fly' screen the view is jumping around all over the place. I don't tend to use it until I have the aeroplane moving, but still would like to be able to enable it when needed during taxi or in the air while hand-flying. Thanks
  6. Hi Ian I've now had a further play with this and, once I'd removed the default "Autobrake Disarm" assignment at the BTV position, it does seem to have solved it so many thanks for the suggestion. Just needs a slightly different mindset operating the physical switches which is really no problem. As mentioned previously, I've never used the TCA autobrake switches with the PMDG 737, which is likely the reason I never had this problem with that aircraft but with this new information in mind and your comment about the rotating selector being a bit more 'Boeing' in nature I might explore this further. I don't believe PMDG make it quite so easy as Fenix do with default MSFS assignments however. All the best
  7. Cunning! I'll see whether that makes a difference my end...
  8. Thanks for this, will check my button assignments as well in the coming days.
  9. Many thanks for the replies. I have tried various different combinations of manual braking, from tapping (up to six or even more times) and pressing and holding the brakes (eventually this also causes the aeroplane to stop of course) without the autobrake disengaging. Still the only way to disengage it is to turn the autobrake off separately, which I would rather avoid if possible. I will see if I can give this some further testing over the coming days, but am wondering if it might have something to do with the Airbus TCA quadrant with the autobrake switch still set to an 'on' position until physically moved to 'off'? (with the PMDG 737 I don't map the autobrake switch)
  10. Hi all Whenever I land with autobrakes on, the Fenix always comes to a complete halt on the runway and I'm trying to find a way to disconnect them while still rolling. With the PMDG 737 I quickly tap the toe brakes a couple of times which disconnects the autobrakes, but this doesn't seem to work for the Fenix. Can anyone advise what the best/correct method is for this aircraft? Thanks
  11. Thanks all for the replies and I understand now that the outboard display units are simply duplicated. Must have been there since day one but it's not something I'd noticed until very recently and now upon casual panning around the cockpit it's not something I can 'unsee'. Nice to hear that there might ultimately be something in the works to correct it. Fingers crossed!
  12. Hi all Just looking around the Asobo 787 flight deck for the first time and noticed that the first officer's display seems the wrong way around, which looks a bit odd when flying from that side. Is there a button in the real 787 flight deck (or the sim) to reverse this? Thanks
  13. While I'm happy now with FPS, I'm still struggling a bit with VAS. For my testing I place myself at a gate at EGLL (Aerosoft), load the aircraft and spend some time looking around in every direction, some in the VC, some external, wait a few minutes, repeat etc. Doing this, whatever I do I can't get the PMDG 777 above 3.25Gb VAS. The iFly unfortunately consistently goes up beyond 3.8Gb. No OOM, but very close! Was really hoping that this would have been improved a little too.
  14. Yep, that was it! Many thanks Kyle.
  15. Hi Just reinstalled the 737NGX into a new install of P3d v3 with a few problems (previously it loaded fine). Upon selecting the aircraft and then Ok to start the simulator window temporarily disappears, the loading information box half disappears off the top left of the screen, once it appears the aircraft immediately starts bouncing up and down like a crazy thing, and scenery loading is incredibly slow and badly flashing over maybe 30 seconds. The aircraft appears to function after this time, but the 777 and others load normally. Can anyone help with what I may have done wrong? Thanks
