Does anyone know whether CP 2020 view presets can be ported over to CP 2024?

With family commitments I get so few evenings to do a full flight these days it's so disappointing to run into this, and much as I really want to move over, 2024 is just SO full of bugs I simply can't.

Thanks all for the replies and I understand now that the outboard display units are simply duplicated. Must have been there since day one but it's not something I'd noticed until very recently and now upon casual panning around the cockpit it's not something I can 'unsee'. Nice to hear that there might ultimately be something in the works to correct it. Fingers crossed!

Hi all Just looking around the Asobo 787 flight deck for the first time and noticed that the first officer's display seems the wrong way around, which looks a bit odd when flying from that side. Is there a button in the real 787 flight deck (or the sim) to reverse this? Thanks

While I'm happy now with FPS, I'm still struggling a bit with VAS. For my testing I place myself at a gate at EGLL (Aerosoft), load the aircraft and spend some time looking around in every direction, some in the VC, some external, wait a few minutes, repeat etc. Doing this, whatever I do I can't get the PMDG 777 above 3.25Gb VAS. The iFly unfortunately consistently goes up beyond 3.8Gb. No OOM, but very close! Was really hoping that this would have been improved a little too.

Hi Just reinstalled the 737NGX into a new install of P3d v3 with a few problems (previously it loaded fine). Upon selecting the aircraft and then Ok to start the simulator window temporarily disappears, the loading information box half disappears off the top left of the screen, once it appears the aircraft immediately starts bouncing up and down like a crazy thing, and scenery loading is incredibly slow and badly flashing over maybe 30 seconds. The aircraft appears to function after this time, but the 777 and others load normally. Can anyone help with what I may have done wrong? Thanks

Hi all, thanks for your replies. I am using P3d v3 and the tests I have done so far were confined to Aerosoft EGLL and default LOWI, both with FTX Global enabled. In both cases the VAS climbed slowly but steadily. Like others here I too am seeing slightly worse starting VAS and lower frames than the PMDG 777 with like for like scenery. I am no expert but I do understand concerns relating to VAS and am happy overall with the compromises made to get a reasonable performance with a range of add-ons. My worry here is not so much the level of VAS, more that VAS levels gradually increase with this aircraft but not others.

I'm a new 747-400 user since SP1 and really love the look and feel of the aircraft. Unfortunately as I sit here at the terminal VAS increases steadily with no input from me at a rate of roughly 100Mb every ten minutes, eventually leading to OOM. Tried re-installing with all tips followed but still the same. Really don't want to refund, so hoping any upcoming fix solves this within the first thirty days...

I leave the EZDOK program pinned to the Windows taskbar so that if it does this (and it does often enough) I can close it and conveniently re-open it straight away. This seems to work every time for me. It'd be even better if there was a solution to stop it happening in the first place though. Luke

HelloHave recently purchased and installed for the first time the PMDG 747 (FS9) and I must say that so far I have been so impressed just looking around the VC that I haven't even tried to get into the air yet!I had one question regarding night lighting -I think that I understand now how the VC lighting switches work, each operating a different part of the cockpit in three stages (slightly different from the PSS777 which I have used for a while now) and this all works fine, but I don't seem to be able to get any of the three FMC units keys to show any backlighting.Can anyone tell me if I am doing anything wrong, or is this how it is supposed to be??Thanks for any reply..Luke
