I got a plane that works for me really well, i get another variant for free and 2 Engine variants. And a freighter for a small amount. Also a native 2024 Modell I'm happy with what i spent my money for

No Simbrief planned FL400 for that relatively short flight. It was impressive how effortlessly the Aircraft climbed up there. And even accelerated while always holding the same speed. Also i like how the controls feal. Really responsive but not twitchy. Also the sounds are awesome

Made my first flight today from LSGG to EDDW With the RR BAW varriant. For me it was great fun. Had to reprogramming the FMS 5 times because of some blinding issues with the Alpha, the Apu Generator would not work. For me it's not how good the textures are. It's about the whole product, how convincing it is. For me it's a 10/10 and i like it more compared to the PMDG Boeing's. For me it's far more immersive Don't regret the 80€

After the 7.1 Update yesterday the Flow Pro icon stays on the whole time in the top right corner of my screen and also the Shortcut (cmd+shift+A) is missing. Also i can't set a new one because flow does not recognize any key or mouse presses. Anybody else with this problem? It's a shame that the discord isn't that useful.

3070 At one point I das it also working. But that was half a year ago and at some point it did not work anymore.

Works the only think that does not work is this under extras 20/30 FG Unlock. Even after installing it, i only get AMD FSR and not Nvidia FG

Landings are a lot easier in 1.10 Made 10 flights so far and the 5 ones after the last update are much better. I also made my elevator axis an my Ursa Minor stiffer, because the elevator only needs really small inputs. That seems to be the same in RL. With my old 8GB 3070 I'm getting solid 60 Frames with FG. I really like the aircraft, for me my current No 1. In my personal opinion on paar with the Fenix. Also i think it's a relatively easy airplane to learn, because it's quite forward and logical. So i don't regret that i bought it.

Pretty much the same for me. Except i haven't had any problems with vectoring or terrain. Maybe it's because i mostly fly IFR in Europe. If i would do a flight without SI, it's a big part for me that is missing. For me it does a petty good job to be immersive. I also like the new rules regarding skynet (multiplayer) which where introduced a few days ago.

With SI i get vectors even with a STAR. Mostly shortcuts, depending on the traffic. In the last 2 months i can't recall a single flight where i was vectored in to high.

In my experience every resolution outside the native monitor resolution hurts the eyes. At least if you are below the native resolution. I run my monitors at 1440 with 120Hz and 60 FPS (Amd FSR) on my 8 GB 3070 Both LOD around 100, no problems at all

Because sime in an other thread said how good BATC has become, i tried it again last weekend. Was okay for the most part. But on fact SI is for me the much more complete solution. More immersive. Regarding TOD. Even in real world ATC does not know the exact TOD for every aircraft, so i would guess it's quite normal to make a "ready to decent" call.

Think i have to try BATC again. Last time i used it (beginning of the year) it was in my opinion clearly lacking behind SI. Especially in terms of immersion. Do you hear rhe Aircraft in front of you when waiting for take off in the coms in BATC?

It's in the pilot portal settings. I think it was under preview. But I'm not at my pc right now. I have deactivated it. For me there was no eeal benefit. And in order to have it to display on mobile or tablet, pocket sky has to be running. If not, you get a verbal error message over and over again. I have the charts open all the time on my laptop. It's like the presence detection. Nice but also for me not really beneficial

In the SI Discord someone bought it did few more testing. I does have cloud popping, and the overall quality of clouds is bad (i have settings on ultra). Yep, it might just be Active sky

The only real difference would be of the transitions are not noticeable. I'll wait till someone other flips the coin

That makes sense So for BATC the live Data is the base for the own injection

But all the injectors which use live traffic will have the same problem. Sequencing The traffic is already sequenced and how do you fit in there I'm fine with SI, even when it's not live. But the immersion is higher when i can hear the aircraft around me ATC wise and also ATC is aware of them. For me ay the moment the better approach

I'm 50 hours into my career with EWG and it's really fun. So much fun that i quit using APL2 50 hours ago. And also in the 50 hours the career mode did get constant additions like fatigue and just recently you have to be on time according to your flight plan and have to have enough fuel left when landing. I like it a lot. And Hyno is a hell of a developer. Very fast and very open. If you are on the discord server, you really have the feeling you are part of the development and can have an impact In comparison to APL2 it feels for me at the moment less like grinding

When flow is not loaded, rhe shortcut brings you nowhere

But if you have turbulence at 100% it's nearly impossible to land because there are huge airspeed shifts during final approach

I use AS only in the passive mode. So that everything regarding weather effects comes from AS, the rest is MSFS. The greatest strength in my view is the fact that MSFS ia ver good in modeling the weather as a whole. And it's very consistent. Maybe some thunderstorms or similar things are not placed on the km spot on. But the weather as a whole is most of the times correct. And MSFS ia very good in modeling local weather like rain showers. You would lose some of rhe strengths if you use AS in mormal mode and not passive mode.
