1.Does AIRAC database have to load EVERY time i choose a PMDG NG aircraft from the aircraft choice menu?Or it can switched to one time load?2. when on final approach with AUTOPILOT ON it suddenly switched off itself and DOES NOT want to switch back on. I want the autopilot to hold APP and Speed until touchdown3. The AUTOTHROTTLE function does not switch on. AT ALL! Why? Speed button as well is not reactingThank you

Please sign your name on this forum as the forums rules state, thank you.1] Yes because the 600/700/800/900 are different aircraft. How many planes do you need to choose?2] It's not going off, the APP light goes out just like the real deal, look at the PILOT's FLIGHT DISPLAY for proper mode engagement. Arm the second A/P before 800 RA but after you push the APP button.3] Did you make sure the GENs are on-line on the overhead? Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. Hi ms/mr Nameless1. It is a one-time load. The first time you load the NG! ;-) If you after that change to another type of PMDG NG the AIRAC will not be loaded. If you however change to a new aircraft all together the AIRAC will be reloaded next time you chose the NG.2. Check Randy's answer and your FMA (Flight Mode Annunciator) at the top of your PFD (Primary FLight Display). But without more information than what you give it could be anything...In general I would suggest some studying of manuals and some search on this forum using the advanced search options. Hope it helps,

Well, AIRAC is loading everyrime the FS starts. It takes time :(((does it have to be so?and sometimes after setting NAV1 AND NAV2 to the runway frequency and pushing APR autopilot, aircraft is making hard turn and flys away.that never happened with any other plane :((thanx

Miss NamelessTo accurately fly this state-of-the-art aircraft you need some navigational data loaded into the FMC. This will take some time. And I guess the developers opted to load everything into memory before the flight to avoid stutters and other anomalies if the FMC was to access data from disk during flight. It's a small price to pay in my opinion. And to answer your question. Yes it has to be that way. ;-)>and sometimes after setting NAV1 AND NAV2 to the runway frequency >and pushing APR autopilot, aircraft is making hard turn and flys >away.Regarding second question we will need some more data than what you have provided above. What were your settings on the MCP? What did you enter into the CDU? And what was the AFDS telling you in the FMA?A screenshot here would be most appreciated!>that never happened with any other plane :((Well, this isn't your average plane either. I would say that chances are we will discover a procedural error when we dig down into your problem. And lastely. Sign your posts with your name as per forum rules, pretty please! Or else the big bad wolf Cpt. Randazzo will come and eat it up! :-)Hope it helps,
