July 10, 200223 yr G'Day Bill!I don't believe that is possible with the general scenery. I'm no pro on that stuff but those are pretty much fixed objects and textures. Perhaps somebody could go as far as develop something with "effects" but I believe that would be an awful lot to do just to close a door.Although, you never know with these geniuses around here. At least the question is original. Who knows what will happen now that you have put that bug in their ear.Cheers!HeatherWhen it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight, I'll get it there the next day; but when you're #2, you try harder. ;)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d18e8077527c2cb.jpg
July 10, 200223 yr Bill, I've seen a screenshot with one of the hangar doors open, but I do not believe it was user controlled. My scenery does not show any open hangar doors (at least I haven't SEEN any), so you might have to up your scenery complexity to Very Dense to see it. I'm not sure about that, but you could try it. -Lindy :-wave
July 10, 200223 yr If anyone remembers the good old days of FS4 (on the commodore 64), you could actually fly your plane thru the open ended hanger in the world war I game that was part of the program. Those were the days, wire frame buildings, grid marks on the scenery to help you navigate, and of course there were the triangular topped mountains in the distance. Fly past them, and you would shortly find yourself in a 4th dimensional warp...back in the scenery again. Those were the days!Sherman KaplanHighland Park IL
July 10, 200223 yr Still want to fly through buildings Sherman?take a look at my post about the Tustin, California blimp hangars.http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...orum=DCForumID8First thing I did was fly through them. I guess nobody saw it because I didn't have any F-16's show up alomgside shortly after. If you like authentic California scenery, you really need these.Used to dee them everyday some years ago from the Santa Ana freeway.Have fun!Heather ShermanWhen it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight, I'll get it there the next day; but when you're #2, you try harder. ;)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d18e8077527c2cb.jpg
