Suddenly my FMC will not recognize CYLW, an airport I use a lot. Everything else is fine, but Kelowna produces an error message indicating runways are not in the data base. The SID/STAR CYLW file is in the folder. The problem first arose after I installed the MS patch and the latest AIRAC. Any suggestions?Peter Lowry

Peter,Yes I have some suggestions. First. It's not a FMC glitch. You get an error message because the SID/STAR file you have for CYLW became outdated the moment you installed the AIRAC 0410.As in the previous posts about this problem (Remember, search is your friend!) you either have to wait for the author of the procedures to update it, you can update it yourself if you have the knowledge. You can make the author aware that there has been changes. If the SID/STAR is part of the set that Terry Yingling is providing you should be sure to update this set as you update the AIRAC data base.Hope it helps,Oh. And if you need more information about this. Do a search. There's tons of information here. ;-)

Many thanks indeed. I must try to do more searching before asking.

No you are welcome do either, don't feel that you must always search although it does give a enormous amount of information.
