October 18, 200421 yr I've tried trimming manually, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I press the trim, and it goes back to the previous position. I tried switching the auto-trim off, but when I pull the safety off the switch, I can't press "+", only "-", which doesn't do anything. I hope somebody can explain me how to trim properly!
October 18, 200421 yr Th trim will be appear to move in the direction you are moving when you hit the trim up or down button ( I have mine programmed to a toggle switch on my CH Yoke), and then it will slide back a tiny bit. Keep tweaking the adjustment until you get the exact trim you want ( no pressure on the control yoke)
October 18, 200421 yr Yeah, I understood that, but when you are in the spot view, you can notice that the vertical stab is jerking up and down when you use the trim, especially if you hold it. That can't be right, or? It will always go back when I manually trim it, and when AP is trimming, it's going very smoothly. Is there a way to get a complete manual trim??
October 18, 200421 yr Word Not Allowed,Never mind what you see in outside view. It's only an animation. The jerking of the stab is the same jerking you see on the trim indicator. The draw back of making FS9 trim less sensitive. You are getting a manual trim. It just doesn't seem to appear so on the stab. As long as you get the right behaviour from the aircraft... I really don't know what more to ask for considering the animations are just cosmetics? BTW. What are you doing back there staring at the tail. Shouldn't you be in the cockpit and fly this dang thing? ;-)Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 18, 200421 yr I just checked and the stab is moving albeit jerky, when trim is applied.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
