Hours logged in the PMDG 737's

Featured Replies

Hey guys,Was going through my logbook recently and after a quick look, I have logged almost 700 hours in the 12 months I have had the 737-6/7/8/900 series. However, I've only had the 8/900 for two weeks - still managed to log 45 hours in it! The large majority of my hours (approx. 70%) of my hours have been logged flying around Australia in the Virgin Blue 737-700's (until recently - now I can fly the 800's in Virgin and Qantas liveries). Don't get me wrong, I have experimented around the FS world in different aircraft and different countries - I just love the sheer quality of the PMDG737 and the ability to fly her in 'a day in the life of an airline pilot'.So, fellow simmers, my questions to you...What version of the PMDG 737 do you have? How many hours have you logged in it/them?Where in the world are the majority of your hours logged? And what livery do you typically use?I can see everyone's total time increasing with the soon-to-be-released 747. Gotta love long-haul...Cheers,Jeremy Soulsby

Are you talking about the FS2004 logbook where the hours you record at the end of the flight are kept? If so, where can you view that? Somehow I've never found where to view the hours :) If you're talking about a manually kept log, I don't keep track :(

Sorry - I meant either the FS2k2 logbook (for our vintage users!) or a manually kept logbook.Failing that - an estimate perhaps?

Well, I own all of the 737ng series, and I reckon that I have done aroud 70 hours on all of them since buying version 1.2. It pales in comparison to what some users have achieved, but from my signiture and varios real world commitments I dont get that much flying in. All of my flying is done in europe with alot of different airlines, although I prefer UK ones, no 900s hear though. With every version of the 737 in use in Europe, and a vast number of airports that the NGs can use, its hard to go wrong!.

I got around 150 hours in mainly the -800 and -900.I fly mainly around the US in American 737-800, Delta, or Continental but also take trips with other airlines like I have flown PrivatAir 737-700 from Dusseldorf, Germany to Chicago (8hrs 30 mins) and flown Alaska -900 from Miami to Seattle which is a 6hr 30min flight. Its fun and can't wait until 747 comes out.Scott

Not sure how many hours I have in the PMDG 737 since I purchased it some months back , since I am not home and can't look at my log book. I can state, however, that since I got the 737, all of my flight hours since then are on that plane and no other.

Done about 40 hrs in the last couple of months in the beautiful 800 with Ryanair virtual all over Europe. Have just upgraded to a P4 3.2Ghz beast so am enjoying things even more.PMDG you have created a masterpeice!!Ben

I have approximately 150 hours in the PMDG 737. The majority of these have been in any of the various Southwest Airlines liverys and on Southwest Airlines routes. I have also flown other liverys including American, Continental, ATA, and Delta and other routes such as to St. Maarten, Mexico City, etc. I live in the KDFW area so a lot of my flying takes place into or out of KDFW or KDAL. I intend to start exploring some of the other continents soon. It looks like there are plenty of interesting airports all over the world.Since getting the PMDG 737 series I have not flown any other airliner (at least not more than once;-) ). Once in a while, though, I like to go to the opposite end of the spectrum and explore low and slow in the Realair Scout.
