November 5, 200421 yr The only complaint I have had about PMDG 737 is the warning and advisory sounds like 2500, 1000, Gear too low, etc that seem to be many times the volume of the rest of the sounds. It has been troublesome because I like to fly with the sound cranked up for realism , and when one of these sounds plays, my neighbor at the end of the block can probably hear it. Yesterday I found Sound Recorder In my Win XP all programs/ accessory/entertainment/ folder I loaded up all the files which are clearly indentified in the FS9/sounds/Pmdg folder and Sound recorder gives the ability to load each file , one at a time, reduce the volume and resave. I found that on most of the really loud files, to clicks of the reduction option was just about perfect. Each time you reduce the volume you can play the sound and hear how it will sound, before saving it.
November 5, 200421 yr Not to kill your joy, but there are many many many programs out there that can load the wav file, change gain and save. Even in the proper format :-)I did my changings with Steinberg Wavelab 5. Long time ago... :-)

November 5, 200421 yr ANd PLEASE keep in mind you are not fixing anything the right way because if you were you would be TURING UP THE SOUND because the real noises are MUCH LOUDER ;-) But good for you that you have tweaked to your liking, that is what matters most Bob..Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
