November 6, 200421 yr Hi all,I was wondering were do you people get your Signifficant weather charts from???Which website??? I ask this because my normal site is shutdown for a while.
November 6, 200421 yr I do most of my flying in Europe, and use www.ippc.no for my wx charts.- Hit the enter button, then the button named weather charts. Good idea to read the explanation for the names of the charts before hitting retrieve list. We get the charts automatically from the weather service, with their file names.Cheers,Kjell.
November 7, 200421 yr I personally use www.myairplane.com. This is a great site. All you do is type in the ICAO and the current METAR comes up along with a radar map of the weather. Also, every SID, STAR, and approach plate is availabe...for FREE!!..no registering or anything.Mike Mike Brown
November 7, 200421 yr http://aviationweather.gov/ This is NWS's Aviation Weather Center's home page. You'll find low, mid, and high sig prog charts. In the Flight Folder link, you'll find weather and prog charts for all over the world. It's prepared by the AWC for various airlines around the world on selected routes. It's the same charts for actual flight planning.Hope this helps,Rich BollWichita Kansas
