November 12, 200421 yr Hi there. I love the PMDG 737NG panel! By far one of the most detailed and useful panels available! But I have a question, when I click the I key, nothing happens. All other letters work, but not the I key...Does it serve a purpose?Dave Needham
November 12, 200421 yr It was put there for the IRS, however they couldn't get it coded into the 737, so right now it's null. They might include it down the road, but it depends on other projects. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
November 12, 200421 yr DaveUnusual as is seems, nothing is supposed to happen, it is a spare button for some reason. If you update to the 800/900 then your old 600/700 will get a new button "C" in place of the dummy button, which bring the clock up.Chris must have posted at the same time as me.. lol.Dave (Another one)
November 12, 200421 yr It was not because "they couldn't get it coded into the 737..." but because they chose not to. As was pointed out, the updated versions have a C for the clock pop-up. The 747 will contain a fully functioning IRS system... Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/southparkcartmad.gif
I WANT MY 747!
Caution! Not a real pilot, but do play one on TV ;-) Randy J Smith
