November 15, 200421 yr What factors would prevent the CRT screen in the PMDG to display? Someone I'm trying to help is having problems. He's made sure the avionics is on and his other airline add-ons work, he went through a start-up guide I made, and nothing seems to be lighting his CRTs? What could be the potential causes? Thanks in advance. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
November 15, 200421 yr Chris,One problem that I can think of is that he's been draining the batteries by flying without the generators engaged. Check the AC/DC metering display on the overhead and make sure your BAT and BAT BUS voltage is above 22V. If this condition is allowed to escalate through saving your flights you will eventually drain the batteries and loose a lot of equipment on the way. Check the manual, chapter 07, pages 7-25 yto 7-27 on how to read the metering panel.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

November 15, 200421 yr Check in FSUIP that you have checked the box that says something like 'Extended battery Life' - make sure you choose 'indefinate' or something like that.
