November 20, 200421 yr I use the PMDG fuel planner for all flights in the NG. It works wonderfully. However, I keep getting periodic warnings on my screen from MSFS that my fuel is critically low in some tank or other, even when I have 40% fuel in total. I am wondering if this is due to the center tank often being loaded at a very low level on short range flights which is what the NG fuel planner does when I ask it to load fuel.Any comments/advice welcome, thanks.Jonathan Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
November 20, 200421 yr Hey Jonathan,Goto Settings|Realism Settings and deselect the checkbox at the top of the screen named "Display Flying Tips". That'll get rid of those annoying messages. As for the meaning of the messages, trust yor instruments and your fuel planner, not that MS box. It just doesn't work right, especially in the NG. Your theory about the center tank is probably spot on.Cheers,David
