Ridiculous MSFS annunciation regarding "low fuel" in NG

Featured Replies

I use the PMDG fuel planner for all flights in the NG. It works wonderfully. However, I keep getting periodic warnings on my screen from MSFS that my fuel is critically low in some tank or other, even when I have 40% fuel in total. I am wondering if this is due to the center tank often being loaded at a very low level on short range flights which is what the NG fuel planner does when I ask it to load fuel.Any comments/advice welcome, thanks.Jonathan

Hey Jonathan,Goto Settings|Realism Settings and deselect the checkbox at the top of the screen named "Display Flying Tips". That'll get rid of those annoying messages. As for the meaning of the messages, trust yor instruments and your fuel planner, not that MS box. It just doesn't work right, especially in the NG. Your theory about the center tank is probably spot on.Cheers,David
