I actually had to autoland tonight, since I was on the phone! I decided just to autoland and see it work, as I always hand-fly finals. Now, when the plane was maybe 400 feet above the TDZE the ILS scales on the EFIS flashed yellow a few times. What was that indicating?Once below DH, the G/S basically fell off the radar, as I was under it's beam and very close to the runway. Normal as we all know, however, the "Glideslope" call-out still played a few times. Should it have? The autoland was perfect in every sense, so no problems, just curious.

It happens at 1500RA and is the ILS confidence check, at which time the armed 2 A/P kicks in and single channel is replaced by CMD on the PFD...Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
