Time Acceleration

Featured Replies

Hello all,I do not own any PMDG products but am eagerly awaiting the 747 (and am shortly going to get the 737 me thinks). What I was wondering is this:I love doing long hauls, but don't like going to sleep halfway through or staying up real late - so I use the time acceleration feauture during cruise (under my constant supervision) most of the time. My question is to PMDG/any 737 users (though won't need it really with a 737!), does the 737 go okay with accelerated time? I don't know if anyone at PMDG knows or can say about time acceleration with the 747 though?Anyone, any answers are much appreciated. Thanks guys,Paul.

Paul,The NG does not like time acceleration, and this goes for most of advanced panels out there.Regarding the 747. I would suspect some kind of feature for the long-haulers with little time. But if this will be a time-acceleration soultion?.... Only time will tell. ;-) Hope it helps,

First the disclaimer: The following comments are only my experiences and may not reflect the results that other will experience. :-)I have been able to use 2x and 4x with the NG as long as I keep a close watch on everything. Over 4x, for me, has been unstable.
